The album was recorded at Rare Book Room Studio in Brooklyn, with producer Nicolas Vernhes, who also produced two of the band's previous releases Microcastle and Rainwater Cassette Exchange. The band have described themselves as InchAmbient Punk,Inch though they incorporate a wide range of genres, including Noise Rock, Art Rock, Shoegaze, and Post-Punk, as well as significant pop elements.
