One of the most successful male country singers of the 1960's, Del Reeves began his recording career in the mid 1950's and scored his first big hit in 1961 with InchBe Quiet Mind.Inch Later in 1965, he had his first #1 hit with InchThe Girl on the Billboard,Inch and the follow-up single, InchThe Belles of the Southern Bell,Inch made the country top five. Del and his wife became a successful songwriting team during this time and wrote songs for many country stars including Rose Maddox, Roy Drusky and Carl Smith. Del also appeared in several Hollywood films including a supporting role in Burt Reynolds' first big movie Sam Whiskey. Presented here is a rare single, originally released in 1980, featuring Del singing two distinctly different versions of the holiday classic InchWhite Christmas,Inch - one solo and one with friends helping out.
