Delines - The Sea Drift - VINYL LP

From the tale of two brothers leaving a convenience store after a shop-lifting gone wrong incident outside of Lake Charles, to a middle-aged woman driving aimlessly outside of Galveston unable to go home to her waiting family. From the 60's pop of InchKid CodeineInch to the soul romance of InchHold Me Slow,Inch Vlautin is one of pop's outstanding storytellers... No one has a better eye for the telling detail, or a keener ear for the heartbreaking phrase... Front-woman Amy Boone's voice is equal parts double cream and liquid smoke.InchBoone's rich, Rickie Lee Jones-meets-Chrissie Hynde voice is the careworn bedrock upon which these bruised, dynamics-rich songs depend... There's no mistaking it's pedigree.Inch MOJO - 4 Stars *InchPortland sextet return from the brink in imperious fettle...
