When using the small filter, the filter started rotating in the portafilter when we placed it in position to brew. You can see in the pics where the detent in the small filter is so close to the to the top of the filter that it is almost in line with the spring in the portafilter. You can see where the detent actually scraped inside the portafilter and now gets stuck every time and I need to use a wrench to release it. The detents in the larger filter are lower and do not come near the portafilter spring slot.

Replaced my 18 year old Mr Coffee model. This is twice as loud, big disappointment. Taste is better with this machine, but with the old one, whatever water put in the machine was how much coffee it made… this one, you cannot walk away from because you have to turn it off manually. Still tempted to return it for an automatic style. Again, taste is good, well made, for the most part. If i use a lightweight cup, it will rattle out of place while heating up to brew.

I loved this espresso maker. Easy to use and made great coffee. Everything is adjustable to your liking. Unfortunately after two weeks the water reservoir leaked and I had my counter flooded with water. Saw other people complain of the same issue. Maybe a faulty gasket. Was good while it lasted.

The overall look of the espresso machine was sleek and beautiful. The setup instructions were not that clear, and the unit did not perform as how we wanted. Best Buy allowed us to exchange it for a different unit.

Smooth brew for a better tasting espresso but it's loud while brewing. Also, wish you had the option for more than 2 shots at a time. (Says it's a double shot but doesn't seem like it compared to other machines I've used)

I wish I could say everything positive about this purchase. I really did love the homemade coffee experience. I was thrilled and excited to have the first sip of the espresso shot made from this incredible machine. This machine comes with 2 sets of coffee pod cups (single, double shot). Single shot cup holds a pretty good amount of coffee powder for the perfect espresso you will ever taste. However, second double shot cup does not hold enough coffee powder to have even 1 and 1/2 espresso shots; even with a family of two would need to wait for 15-20 minutes to get a good second coffee.

Initially had a great performance but after 1 1/2 weeks of use the preasure was not the same and the brew was very slow we had the same coffee the same amout so we ended up returming it . We liked the brand so we changed for another model of that same brand.

Makes a perfect shot of espresso, but pump is loud and frother is worthless. Froths like bubbles from a straw, not soft and foamy like my last machine (different brand.) Ended up buying a more $$$ version from the other company to get what I really wanted and took this to school to use in the teacher’s lounge for the espresso shots. :)

Overall, this is a decent espresso maker for the price. And the frother is great. My gripe is that it does not stop automatically. So never leave it unattended! And it is very loud. If you have any light sleepers, wait until they are awake to use this (unless you hate them)!

ive had this 2 years works very well great for espresso single or double but doesn't last very long. a piece form the coffee cup connection broke and its now useless. I guess for the price its ok that's why the 3 star rating.

Didn't like that the portafilter is smaller than the standard size found on other machine and the tamp is made of plastic. But the first few cups of coffee were great but then the quality dropped. I returned it and got a higher end machine.

When I first used this product I was so impressed- the first few brews were absolutely perfect. Unfortunately it has been inconsistent ever since. Sometimes it cools too quickly, sometimes only one of the two openings work, etc. I always use the same coffee, same grinder. Contacted customer service while I was still under warranty, they did some troubleshooting via video conference. Then I was asked to send a video filming myself in my coffee making process. Then I was told to change the grind size of my beans. After all this experimenting, you guessed it, warranty time was up. So now I'm stuck with a faulty machine. Giving it at least 3 stars because it used to work well, so I'm assuming I just have a bad one. Took off 2 stars for the unresolved customer service issues.

Would have given this a 4 star when I bought it. When using you need to grind more coarse than normal for espresso. Not enough pressure to push through fine grinds or hard pressed. Still working though after a year.

I like the machine. It is very easy and pulls coffee very fast. My only problem is that it doesn’t have a shot setting. It is just a brew and manually have to time the shot.

I loved this machine however the pouring of the coffee, slowed down drastically. I bought this machine May eighth, 2022. Is it October fifth, 2022. It has not been a year, I wash the portafilter, the steamer every time I use. Always has water. I have use it 100 (maximun) times withing the five months I've had it. I put my cup at the bottom to catch the coffee, it only drips down coffee. It takes ten minutes to make two ounces, when it used to do it in seconds.

I used to love this as it’s cheap simple and works general well for espresso. The steam frother is so so. But the water tank leaks. This is the second one and it did it within two weeks. Our first one, which we just replaced, did it too and I bought a new water tank for that one. It only partly helped. But this new one is only a few weeks old and the whole tank is on the counter within an hour of filling it.
