I was relatively late to the Destiny party as I never played the original Destiny and only got into Destiny 2 when Best Buy ran a member special on the base game for something like $5.99. I picked it up and started playing it only to discover the base game caps your level at 20! Yeah, yeah. I know I shouldn't complain for a six-dollar game, but I was surprised that the level caps - I was expecting just to be restricted out of certain content, not to be completely neutered. Anyway, as for the Forsaken: Legendary Collection expansion, it is a nice compilation of all DLCs and updates to date, and I guess it dramatically improved overall gameplay. As I don't have much prior experience, I can't say one way or the other. I bought this expansion and loaded it onto my Xbox but have honestly yet to play it more than a few minutes. The new content is immense, but I had mentally already given up on the game after the level cap fiasco. I'm sure it'll be really good once I decide to pick it back up again.

I'm a serious latecomer to Destiny 2 — to the whole loot-shooter genre in general, really — so only took the plunge when the price of the base game dropped down into impulse-buy range. As a middle-aged parent who doesn't have hours of free time to sink into lengthy multiplayer sessions, I wasn't sure I'd find it rewarding, but I've been having a great time. There's a ridiculous amount of single player story-line content across all the expansions here, tons of daily and weekly events rotating through all the time, more multiplayer modes than you can shake a stick at, and so many tasks and challenges and bounties thrown at you all the time that even a quick 30-minute play session can be plenty satisfying. I haven't really played any FPSes at all in years, usually finding them more frustrating than anything, but I've seriously enjoyed D2.

So this game was in a rough spot for the first year + with changes it looks to be getting better. I was a regular D1 player and did pre order D2. My biggest issue is I already had the the expansions of the Warmind and trials so I felt like I had to buy all of it again. That being said 25 for this much of the game is awesome and worth starting D2 up.

Love this game. Hands down one of my favorite games to play. Big fan of the style of play as well as the looting system. You can play with friends as a fireteam, or sole and travel planet to planet defeating the darkness. Mostly enjoy the PVE experience and occasionally PVP. Something for everyone. The developers have tried to make the game more enjoyable for everyone whether you enjoy PVE or PVP play.

The series really needed this boost in content. I am really enjoying it. If you were a fan of the original this latest installment has some solid story to tie it all together.

I enjoyed the original Destiny quite a bit, and while there is nothing particularly wrong with D2, I am having a bit of trouble getting into this one. I think perhaps I am getting into it a bit too late. With the newest expansion having just released everyone starts at level 20, so you don't get the full experience of leveling up on your own. And of course like the original the story is rather loose, and I personally prefer more structured story based games. but the core mechanic are solid.

Love the graphics, the story, and the new mods. Epic!

When Destiny 2 released it was not much different from Destiny 1 and now with the season 2 content it finally feels like a sequel and not a DLC. This is a good value if you have not already purchased Destiny 2 otherwise just buy the Forsaken DLC which should have been included with Destiny 2 anyway.

Destiny 2 is great and Forsaken is a great expansion. I would not recommend buying the physical copy though. You have to have the disc in to play, and it was very difficult to figure out how to buy add-ons, because your Microsoft account will not recognize that you have bought the game.

THIS EPIC COMBO OF SEASONS PASSES, COMBINED WITH FORSAKEN ARE A MUST HAVE. I USED TO HAVE ONLY DESTINY 2. BUT THIS EDITION OPENS A WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL OF EPIC GAMEPLAY AND CUSTOMIZATION.

My sense has been that this game gets a lot of criticism; but, in my experience, it has been a lot of fun to play. I never felt like I needed to pay extra money to upgrade my character; there's a ton to find for free.

Best game ever! With the video enhanced to 4k it makes the unbelievable graphics of destiny pop out even more and this edition comes with all the current expansions included.

Well i actually expected more from Bungie, the guys that gave us Master Chief. But i guess this is all that we can have for now. The game is solid but few things were missing.

Destiny 2 is by no means a bad game. The only thing is that there are so many other AAA games coming out this year. I played this pretty much exclusively until Spider Man came out. I had no problem letting this go to play another game. Haven't come back to it yet, either.

Forsaken is what I wish destiny 2 was from the beginning. Absolutely addicted to this game all over again. Highly recommend revisiting destiny if only for forsaken!

This is a great game with a lot of depth and features. I like that it includes all previous versions of the game and levels your character up right away so you can access it all but unlike Halo, this game requires all the leveling up to progress which may turn some off.
