This series, Dexter had become a hit on showtime. With the price of cable going up we decided to buy the dvd. There are quite a few seasons so I'm sure we will buy the others. The acting is okay, the language is adult. and the plot is def adult. It can be gory, but tolerable. I wouldn't let anyone under 18 watch this.

Season 6 gets very biblical and the story-line is intense! I own every season of Dexter and if you're a fan this season definitely does not disappoint! Immediately after watching the last episode of this season we ordered Showtime (at 11pm at night) just because we HAVE to see what happens in the next season. If you're a fan don't hesitate on this, it's definitely worth it. Follow the code.

I missed this season when it was on air and read some negative reviews about it. When I did get to watch it I was hooked like normal for any Dexter season and thought it was pretty awesome. Crazy staged bodies with messages and all kinds of strange stuff. Loved Colin Hanks' 'dark passenger' story to make it even more crazy. If I had to complain it would be that Colin Hanks is not the best person to be a scary killer. He still did a find job and this season got real good in the last seconds, enough said.

If youre a fan of dexter, you'll like this season as much as the rest. I'm not a religious person and am often annoyed by the overuse of religion in a tv series or movie; this season is all about religion but wasn't trying to make a point - it was simply a motive to drive the story. I'd rate this season in the middle of the pack; not as good as season 4 or 1, but better than the still excellent season 2, 3, and 5.

What is there not to like about this suspense and psychopath thriller series. Dexter Morgan is one of the most complex characters ever developed in a TV series. He is a good guy who cares for people, but has a little dark side and is a serial killer that kills bad people. Haunted by his past see how he overcomes and deals with his demons. Highly recommended to watch and own.

Dexter is one of the better series on television right now...and this season certainly delivers as usual. It's a must have for the casual fan and for the die hards to have!!!

Love this show. Superb acting and plot. ..a psychological look at a serial killer and his effect on those around him.

If you are tired of the same old, same old, this will grab your attention. It really beats waiting week to week on Showtime to see what will transpire in Dexter's challenges.

Dexter is an excellent tv drama. The plots are original. The finale was a huge cliffhanger, and I think season 6 was the start of the beginning of the end for Dexter.

This season has very good plot. It's much better then season 5, but it's a little James Bond-ish. Too many unrealistic, last minute saves. That's a little annoying. But it the end, it's worth buying and watching. I don't plan on watching this very often again.

I really enjoyed this DVD. Got it pretty cheap and truly enjoyed the story. Couldn't stop watching it until I finished it a few days later.

The season started off slow but it ended really good. The series was getting back to what it was known for like the first four seasons.

Really loved this season. Lots of twists and it had great recaps from the prior episodes. Not for family, but for sure adults.

Dexter has always been a show I enjoy. Ever since the first season, I have found it to be very entertaining.
