While most student flutes use silver-plated metal throughout the headjoint, the DZ-301 features solid sterling silver at the critical contact points where tone is shaped. Equally important is Di Zhao's signature hand-cut headjoint. Every DZ-301 headjoint is individually cut with precise undercuts and overcuts by trained craftsmen - a standard reserved for professional instruments at most other makers.
