Makes the camera look very professional and feel very professional! Lots of battery life with 2 batteries in at once and the fact I can use AA's if on vacay etc I feel is a huge benefit. Very helpful with fixing akward grip while taking portrait pics. Has the shutter button works with half press to focus like camera does and the option dial along with option buttons. Has a holding place for the battery door cover just incase I have to go back to 1 pack or don't want to carry the batt grip with extra weight....I would recommend for any dslr!

Took this on my 4 day trip to Florida, battery grip worked out fine. Gave me extra grip and portrait photos came out sharper coz I had a more stable grip.

Works well enough. Too bulky and lopsided. Priced higher than expected for the feel and construction.

For long photo shoots or for pleasure trips, I found the battery grip to perform as described. Perfect for lengthy photo shoots or hikes. Minimizes the gear you need to pack and carry. I use it for special occasions when battery capacity is critical.

It was a good thought since I like to take pictures when I go hiking and I wouldn't have to change the battery but it adds to the bulk and weight of the camera - not so good when you're hiking.

I love that I can use alkalines if need be in an emergency. I keep 4 cells ready to go and charged up and this thing can shoot all day.

Picked this up hoping it would work with my 70D and it did right away. Just as good as Canon brand. Nice fell on camera.
