I'm an original equipment person and generally very skeptical about trying generic anything. I was going on the longest vacation I had ever taken and knew that backup batteries were a necessity because of the remote area we were visiting plus the unavailability of reliable recharging sources. Read all the reviews and decided to bite the bullet and bought two. to my surprise, they out-performed the original.

I'm used to my Rebel T3 battery that can shoot 8 hours, so it was an adjustment to only have 3 hours on the SX60, but this replacement lasts a little longer than the original Canon battery. I usually get around 4 hours out of it. I just have to remember to keep the backup in mypocket

Sure enough my one and only battery I had had for 3 years died in the middle of an out-of-town Christmas photo shoot. The week before I found out about the photo job I felt deeply impressed to get a back-up battery and am I glad I did. The DigiPower battery works as well as the original Canon battery.

The Digi Power rechargeable battery that I purchased at Best Buy for my Canon Powershot camera performed well during a trip I recently took to the western part of the country. I was able to take well over 900 pictures and I only recharged the battery once.

It holds its charge just as long as the Canon battery. I have bought other brand batteries to have as my back up battery, and ended up sending them back. This battery, bought at Best Buy, is working very well.

I now have 5 of these batteries because I take a lot of pictures. This is a good battery that is very easy to swap out even as you are taking pictures.

This battery is a great replacement or extra to have laying around if you think you will be doing a lot of shooting or activity that could drain the battery down.

Always have back-up batteries on hand so I never run out of power. Can count on these to work when you need them to. Will buy again--anytime to keep in stock.

Works exactly as expected and advertised. Would purchase again. Really recommend having 3 batteries for your camera so you're always ready.

They had no Canon batteries in stock, so tried the off brand and it works just as well as the battery that came with the camera.

A must have as i have 6 grandchildren. Love having an extra battery always ready.

This is a replacement for a similar brand and model battery purchased less than a year ago. It quit holding a charge thus necessitating the purchase. Best Buy only carries this brand and I was in a pinch for a spare. I did talk to the manufacturers customer service and was treated and taken care of promptly. This is the main reason for the 4-star rating and comments.

This battery was compatible with my camera, hold good charge, and is definitely a must if you’re one who travels and captures alot of memories!

It was a very good purchase I made , and saved money by buying 2 I was pleased that I saved. The sales people who I dealt with were very helpful.
