Philadelphia native folk singer/songwriter Don Paulin was one of the more popular folk acts of the early 1960's and performed regularly in Southern California during the folk boom. Blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and an ear for the folk music of distant lands, Paulin became a popular attraction on the folk circuit. Paulin settled in Germany in the mid-60s and made a living by recording numerous InchfolkloreInch LPs, a style that occupied everything from nursery rhymes via skiffle to fake protest. To anyone growing up in folk-starved 1960s West Germany, Don Paulin was a household name.
