Connect your headphones with microphone to select devices with a 3.5mm interface with this Dynex™ DX-HZ318 adapter, which adapts dual TRS female jacks to a single TRRS male plug for flexible connectivity options.
A: We use it to connect a headset to the Xbox controller. We are also able to use it on a Amazon Fire tablet and a Samsung Galaxy 7 inch tablet. It works on both.
A: Pink/Red for the microphone, green for the headphone. The cable does have a paper label/sticker on each end with a picture.
A: This is a microphone / head phone splitter/adapter used to separate the signals from a single 4 ring male 1/8 dia (3.175 mm) plug to become 2 female 1/8 dia (3.175 mm) 2 ring jacks and separates the headphone and mic signals . So it allows one to connect a single mic and a head phones to a device i.e. laptop computer that has both the mic and headphones combined on the same plug. So, in my case I used it to connect a studio mic as input (the red female connector) and some ear buds to the lap top's combo headphone/mic input jack. From your question, it sounds like you have a different need, if you are trying to connect to a flat screen's RCA output. First RCA outputs are used to connect line level signals to say an external amp or recorder, or other devices that take line level signals. Line level signals will not have the signal strength to drive headphones or earbuds directly, a line level signal would need to amplified. Many flat screens have two types of outputs line level RCA and headphone 1/8 dia (3.175 mm) jacks; which can drive headphones. So, check your wireless speaker and wireless connector requirements such as type of connect and signal level requirements as inputs to them and then select the appropriate cable to match your needs. If I read between the lines though, if the goal is to drive both the wireless speaker and the wireless headphones so that the TV sound goes to each, what is needed is a splitter cable that takes a single signal and splits it into two so that it can drive two devices. Think like I have one headphone jack and I want to split in in two so that I can have 2 sets of head phones, one for me one another person. It's that functionality that would drive both the wireless speaker and the wireless headphones input. This Dynex Headphone Microphone Adapter cable is a for completely different purpose. So start with checking the type of connector and signal level needed to drive the wireless speaker and the wireless headphones (hopefully they are the same i.e. both 1/8 dia (3.175 mm) or both RCA and then look at the TV that has an output with the same signal level and connector. Both may require the same signal level, since I assume the have built-in transmitters to the receiving device (speaker and headphones). Choose the cable connect format that matches. A: My personal MacBook air has two ports, on for the mic and the other for the headphones. I bought a headset just for that. I got a brand NEW MacBook Pro at work, only one jack, and wanted to use my existing headset when I work from home... I can't tell you about the PS4, but it failed to work on the MacBook Pro
A: yes it will work since the two male connectors are for speaking and hearing and the splitter will incorporate the two into one so it should work
A: They work perfectly, The plug is a little oversized but the item overall works as it should be
Q: Will this work on my ps4 controller if I want connect the Logitech g230 headset to the controller.
A: Didn't work for me. I tried connecting my bose to controller and using original ps4 mic at same time. I'm sending it back
Q: Is this compatible with a Lenovo model #3087 laptop?
A: This should work fine with your computer, though it has never been tested with your specific model.
