Needed a new charger for my phone and decided to try this one out. It charges my phone just fine but it does tend to run hot every now and then. Does its job so no real complaints

I bought this as an extra charger for my LG VX9200 flip-open qwerty-keyboard, internet capable cell phone and possibly for my husband's Samsung U365 flip phone--however, both phones immediately flashed a warning that it was unsafe to use this charger with each of these devices. Maybe my phones are too "old school"? Or maybe the charger? I don't know.... Best of luck! Of course with Best Buy, it was easily returned!

I purchased this USB charger just 6 months ago from Best Buy. It stopped providing 5 volts output and no longer charges my phone. Hopefully, sharing my experience will help others so that Dynex can be motivated to improve Longevity and Quality Control for this product. Meanwhile, Dynex is no longer a brand I can completely trust for top reliability.
