Q: Will this work for a DirectTV reciever ?

A: Yes you can use this modulator to connect a TV with only a coax connection. I used this modulator and RCA splitters to hook up two TV's with only coax connectors to my DirectTV DVR.

Q: Can composite be input and coaxial be output ?

A: This is exactly the product you need. The RCA is the input and it outputs to coaxial.

Q: Can I feed video from pvr to a remote TV via coax?

A: It really depends on the PVR and TV and how everything is connected. I can't answer this for you.

Q: Coax to composite

A: This product will not work as it outputs via coaxial.

Q: Will this Dynex modulator work with a long coax cable (40+) or do I need some kind of signal amplifier?

A: Because this is intended for short range use, for longer runs a amplifier will most likely be required.

Q: WILL THIS WORK WITH A ROKU

A: It depends if your model of the ROKU has a composite video and stereo audio output. If it only has an HDMI output then it is not compatible with the Dynex RF Modulator.

Q: RF MODULATOR

A: Yes, you should be able to. Usually you need to run the red white and yellow cables for the DVD portion and the coax cable for the VCR portion. That will let you run the DVD and the VCR with no issues.
