There are two white tapes on the unit - can I remove?

What year is this model made? I want to buy this but my only concern is Dyson won’t discontinue making the filter for this model like other brand right? It’s an expensive one and I would want it to last more years.
Answered by JuanRI was told by the knowledgeable best buy dude ,that it was last years model, i when for the ""cheap one "" so still have alot of life ahead, i am ordering at least two extra filters just to be ok,they recommend changing the filter at least every 6 months or so
DOES THIS AIR PURIFIER COME WITH THE FILTER INSTALLED ALREADY OR WILL I HAVE TO INSTALL THE FILTER WHEN I RECEIVE IT?

We purchased the Dyson Air Purifier from Best Buy today. There are no instructions on the operation of the Remote Control, only Regulatory compliance and safety information. Should there be some instructions ?
