I LOVE this vacuum so much, I want to marry it! The wide head and powerful suction means less sweeps across the floor to accomplish the task, which equals less time spent vacuuming. I am done so much faster, not having to go over the floor a thousand times and not being limited to an area with a cord tying me down. I have never run out of battery power during a chore, but the extra battery is nice to have just in case. I love all of the tools it came with; I haven't found a task yet, it doesn't have a tool for. It is quieter than most vacuums. It doesn't become clogged with hair. It is convenient to grab for small tasks. It is versatile for cleaning under and behind things and in high spaces. The range of motion is so good, I can even vacuum behind the toilet! It is convenient and lightweight enough that cleaning the stairs is not cumbersome. I cant say enough wonderful things about it. A few things to note...It CAN get a bit heavy if you are doing the whole house; I switch arms back and forth. It probably would not be good for someone with a disability for that reason. It is a trade off for the power, extended life battery, and large canister. When vacuuming a rug/carpet that has a medium to high pile, I recommend switching the lever on the front of the head to the minus (-) sign and setting the power to eco to lessen the suction and make it easier to push. It is very strong. LOL Thirdly, it will suck up pretty much anything, so be careful how large the items are, or you will need to unclog it. My son sucked up some poinsettia leaves, which clogged the intake. We figured it out, because it wasn't picking things up. We simply emptied the canister and pulled the leaves out and it was good to go. Buy it! You will not regret it!

So far so good, i have the v11 torque drive in my bedroom and decided to get this one for the main floor, having two batteries is awesome, the quick dumping mechanisms on the bin works better than the smaller torque drive since i have two Huskies and the fur doesn't want to come out of the smaller bin sometimes. It's a bit heavier but takes half the time to set up and do a quick vacuum around the house if I'm expecting guests than a full size. no plugging into several outlets and hanging it on the wall ready to go any minute makes vacuuming so much less miserable, skat like sweeping with a built in dust pan. Also the led on the crevice tool really helps get those furballs under desks and around corners that are easy to miss. Only had it a month now but i find it so much easier to keep my house clean since I'm always busy. the wide head is much more ideal for keeping 3000 sq feet clean with dogs. Haven't hit any wet spots or had anything break. It doesn't get close to using up a whole battery and seems to have just as much suction as my shark. It does seem like it could be more flimsy than a full size vacuum but only time will tell. Had my smaller v11 break a week after getting it and they sent me a new motorized head within a few days free shipping with no hassle whatsoever, just answering some troubleshooting questions over text which has been the best warranty experience I've ever had but I'm glad i had a backup.

This is my third Dyson! Even though my other Dysons are still working (15 years and still going) we wanted something lightweight and easy to use. This vacuum exceeded my expatiations as shown in the picture. I went over the area that my robot vacuum just finished and as you can see the other vacuum just can't compete. The unit comes with two batteries which you will need if you're running on high. I found that leaving the vacuum on auto is powerful enough and gives you about 45 minutes run time. It also comes with a mounting bracket making it easy to store. The only thing I don't like is the way the accessory attached to the main shaft. I use it to hold the illuminated crevice tool which is very handy but its always moving or falling off. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this vacuum!
