A: Hi, Deebot U2 could vacuum and mop. If you don't want the Deebot mop, you could remove the mopping plate and empty the water tank, then the Deebot will be back the vacuum mode. Please kindly note that Deebot U2 doesn't have the carpet detector and it doesn't have the map function. So it could not avoid the carpet automatically. And it could not edit the map area. A: It doesn’t map the home at all. Buy a better one. This thing isn’t capable. It can run around forever miss big areas.

Q: Does the mop function use only water or a cleaning fluid
A: It says on its website that you should use distilled water, not tap. I use tap. I’m not going to go buy distilled water for it.
