PRO: Solid Construction, Smooth Movement, Easy Install, Adequate Cable Management CON: Packaging is Basic, Tightening to desk Mechanism First impressions were exceeded! I'm happy with the purchase as it was a solid feel as soon as you pick it up out of the box. It operates smoothly and can be adjusted for weight of mic. I have a Blue Yeti X attached and did not have to adjust the resistance. Only things I would change is the packaging could have been more premium but is was a simple cardboard box with very little insulation. The tightening mechanism (to the desk) is a hand lever which isn't bad but it can cause issue for tight spaces depending where your desk is located and where you decide to mount.

This is by far The BEST Mic Boom Arm I have EVER tried. The Suspension is great, the quality is decent, but overall the flexibility and sturdiness is UNMATCHED from 90% of the mic arm's on the market for the past 5-10 years. Elgato nailed this one, and has become a HUGE staple in my gaming/recording/streaming/editing setup at home. I would even buy a second one to have when traveling with my Shure MV7. Love it!!

Very stable arm. Doesn't transfer vibrations to the mic. Cable management is sleek and subtle.

First boom arm I’ve ever had and it’s super easy to set up and use I love this and am so glad to not need a headset mic anymore!

Better than I thought. I never wanted to spend much on an arm, but I can definitely say it’s a huge upgrade from the more inexpensive ones.

There are many options for boom arms out there, some cheap, some...not so cheap. The Elgato Wave Boom Arm is definitely the perfect middle for the boom arm market. It has a clever design, like the Blue Compass and Rode PSA-1 (being very similar in price), but stands out with the adjustable height from the base and its rubber sleeve for cable management that makes it easier for cables to move through the arm itself. Considering the cheaper alternatives and their ability to handle my Blue Yeti Mic, or lack thereof, the Elgato Wave Boom Arm is the obvious choice. I'm sure you could find a better quality boom arm on the market somewhere, but for $99 or less, the Elgato Boom Arm is my #1 pick!

This is a great addition to my office. It took just minutes to set up, it's very sturdy, it has nice cable management, it was very easy to attach to my desk (the giant crank for adjusting the mounting bracket was really useful), and moving my microphone around is now effortless. The only trouble I had was that I was attaching a Blue Yeti X mic and connecting the USB cable to the mic was tricky because the adjustment screw almost blocked access to the micro USB port. Your results may differ - I don't know if all Blue Yeti mics have the port in the same spot.

I looked for one that wasn't too expensive but had great value. I think this is the one you want for quick and easy daily use. I like that i can hide the microphone cord and the mechanic internals are practically hidden too. My Hyperx Quadcast S works perfectly with this arm. I don't think you can go wrong with this with whatever brand of mic with it.

First off, great build quality. Very easy to install and set up. Functions exactly how i want it too. Considered less expensive options but decided to spend a little more on the product all the others compared themselves to. I recommend this Mic arm.

Easy to install, well engineered with a great look. You won't be disappointed. I got it for $20 off...which is a great deal. Elgato makes great products.

I tried the lp version of this and I hated it, but this one is perfect. The extender gives plenty of height the added weight helps with lighter mics, and the movement is smooth and quiet.

I'm using this arm to hold a Scarlett CM25 MKiii mic. The included adapters and mounting hardware made everything a breeze to set up!
