Elixir Acoustic strings have the best sound and last the longest of any of the strings I've tried... And I was a GM of a music store for many years. They do cost a little more than your average string but the quality is absolute. There is nothing that can compete with the sound.

Great strings, sound great and priced well. I would recommend to anyone

Elixirs do cost more money than most strings. However, they do last longer than most strings (about 3 times as long). They are bright strings. And they stay bright for about 1-2 years, for my light usage anyways. So the higher price point balances out since you are changing your strings less. They feel very soft as well. Very much like a satin coating on the strings.

Sound great for my Taylor acoustic. I will be reordering.

I have tried all 3 kinds of strings by elixir and the nanoweb are the best. Not only do they out last the other 2, sound better and don't hurt your fingers.

I would professionally recommedn the Jon Pearse string or the DF'Addario. They are both better sounding, crisper strings. You might not hear it depending on the level of player and the type of music that you play. The overtones and complexity of the sound is not nearly as brilliant on these strings as other strings. Elxir strings may last longer and I can vouch for them in doing so as I did a pro- demo. I would prefer to change my strings more often and go for a better less expensive string. The asking price for these (I pay little or nothing for guitar strings as a touring musician so it makes no difference to me), is ridiculous. All the best!

These strings last a long time and sound very nice and bright. No wonder why Taylor uses them exclusively.

I really like these they are long lasting strings . I tried a different brand that I used several times and they just dont last as long as the Elixir strings and I have never had any strings break while playing . Very good.

Music sounds good for what I paid. They are light weight but seem durable. I haven't broke one yet.

Excellent long lasting strings. Paid $15.00 for them at my local Best Buy and they run over $35 @ my local music store.

The Elixir guitar strings were just what I expected them to be. The sound and quality was as always exceptional.

I love Elixer strings. They sound great and Best Buy has a great price on them. Careful though, they break easy.

They are the best strings you can get and you pay the price. Still you get what you pay for.

I've tried many strings and always prefer these for clarity and longevity.

I got these because I kept popping my high e-string, and these worked, especially after getting great advice from the Best Buy floor rep.

Worth the price because they do last quite a bit longer than traditional strings.
