A: 8 hours on a full charge but we usually charge them before fully dead. They last as long as or longer than normal batteries I think. Get you a spare set to always have two charged and ready to go.

A: yes, they will replace the ni-cd batteries just fine.
A: Although they do have some charge already, it is recommended to charge prior to first use. I have a charger that will charge them automatically. Usually it takes less then a half hour the first time.
Q: Correct batteries for Nikon Coolpix L840?
A: Patti, I brought the Energizer Re-charger that will re charge AA; AAA; C; D; and 9 Volt batteries. on the AA Rechargeable batteries in the very bottom left hand corner in very fine print it say, "1.2 Vcc NiMH Batteries/piles." Based on that I would think that these batteries would work. In the past I have had Nikon cameras and used off the self batters in them with now issues. I am not claiming to be an expert by any means just letting you know my experience with these batteries. I hope this helps you.
Q: Are they manufactured in China?
A: The ones I received (model UNH15BP-4) are marked "Made in Japan for Energizer Brands, LLC"
A: Labeled 2000 mAh
