Q: I have a battery operated thermostat. Can I put lithium batteries instead of alkaline ones. How much longer do they last versus alkaline ones and is it worth spending the extra money?

A: Yes, you can put lithium batteries instead of alkaline ones. For my use, the lithium ones last at least twice as long.

Q: are they worth the money or is it not much difference between these and your standard Duracell and energizer good alkaline batteries? I use these in a digital night vision scope I need something that last any suggestions?

A: Yes they are definitely worth the money even though I tried other that work for few days, thought I could get by with another good brand which is cheaper but finally brought this battery and it last at least 10mos to a year for my video security camera

Q: What type of Charger is recommended for the Lithium Batteries?

A: These are not rechargeable batteries.

Q: Can you toss them in the garbage after use or do you need to dispose of them in a specified way/location?

A: Lithium batteries cannot be disposed of in the garbage, they need to be recycled. Check with your local recycling centers, some may not take them yet.
