This is my first projector and I was really excited to open the box and see what it would be like and all the uses I would have with it. Out of the box, there is the projector, remote and power cord. That's it. I was kind of surprised that no other cables came with it until you look at thte rear and realize there isn't many ports. Nothing like you would find on any type of television or monitors. There is a USB-B and 2 HDMI inputs. And here is what important to note, there is no output. This is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. While setting up the projector and figuring things out, I found the internal speaker weak. It's good enough for small bedroom or maybe if you are using it in a small conference room for presentation, but not for any type of entertainment media in my opinion. The fan is constant and noticeable, so you have to turn the volume up to drown out the noise. Since there is no output or bluetooth, I didn't know how to use an external speaker. A quick google search gave me some options but I think that Epson could have just added bluetooth or 1 audio output. Resolution is good but wasn't close to being like any modern television or monitor. But here is the good part, the versatility of a projector is awesome. It is mobile and adjustable. You can go from a medium size screen to a projecting an image on your garage door to make a movie theater experience. This unit has many options to help you adjust the size and angle and it was very easy to use. Out the box, reading the manual, I figure out how to do it in minutes. This unit is very good for it's purpose and in the end, I'm glad I finally own one.

This projector is a great choice for frequent travelers and anyone who gives a lot of presentations. I travel for work often and sometimes mail my projector to the hotel if I’m flying with a layover. This one weighs around 5 pounds and is small enough to fit in my laptop bag, so It’ll be much less of a hassle to travel with. When it comes to display quality, the colors are incredible, especially the reds and blues. This is my first 3-chip 3LCD projector, and without a doubt, it’s the best I’ve ever owned in terms of clarity and brightness. It is 4,000 lumens and outperforms other projectors I’ve used in the same brightness range, in terms of the crisp display. The auto keystone correction is nice too. I first tested it in my den just to see what it could do. The moment I connected my computer, my Windows background lit up the wall so vividly it looked like wallpaper. I’ve included a series of photos showing different color palettes, all taken during the day. In one shot, I even opened the shutters to show how well it performs in bright light. Later, I set it up outside for my kid and his friend to watch a movie, and it looked incredible. The one real head-scratcher is the port setup. It has two HDMI ports, which I initially thought would be perfect for a streaming stick (like Chromecast) or my wireless HDMI receiver. However, I quickly realized that this projector has no USB-A port to power those devices. Without USB-A, I’ll need a separate power source, which kind of defeats the convenience of dual HDMI. I’d gladly trade one HDMI port for a USB-A, since now I have to use my power bank just to run my wireless HDMI receiver. Two other small drawbacks: there’s no AirPlay support, and the built-in speaker is pretty weak outside of small meeting rooms. It works fine for a conference table presentation, but if you’re projecting a movie on your garage door for kids, the project speaker gets lost in background noise. Overall, this is still the best-looking projector I’ve ever owned, and I’m genuinely happy with it. I just think Epson missed an easy opportunity by leaving out USB-A. This projector is especially clearly built for portability and frequent travelers who often use wireless HDMI setups, yet it lacks the USB-A to power those devices.

This Epson projector did very well for our outdoor movie night. Out of the box it took me about 10-12 mins to get it turned on, set up, connected to my Apple TV via a HDMI cord and was able to get our party speaker connected via bluetooth to the Apple TV. After scrolling and finding our movie, walaaahhh, we had our outdoor movie theatre ready for action! This Epson 3LCD projector has a built in tripod for easy up and down positioning and there is a manual lever right below the lens to focus the image in or out. Obviously, the focusing will vary based on how far or how close you are to your screen. Our screen came from Amazon and worked very well with this Epson Projector. The built in speaker I will say was very loud and I believe would totally work if being used indoors. But being outside, the party speaker definitely helped. I will add, you must have a video device attached via HDMI cable to the projector to allow for the option of having an external Bluetooth speaker connected. The projector itself doesn’t have the Bluetooth feature built in which for me wasn’t a problem but for some, it may be. The projector definitely felt warm after our movie but it never stopped or shut down during the viewing time. The remote control allowed for easy navigation between all the menu screens. I like the fact that this projector has the option to place the unit in front of the screen or behind the screen for viewing. You can flip the screen in the settings of the projector which will allow the behind the screening viewing option. We preferred that because it kept the unit safe from the kids running around while our movie was playing. Overall, for the price I feel this projector had a nice, crisp picture. Sound quality from the projector itself would be great indoors. It has 2 HDMI cord inputs for multiple device hookups. This would definitely come in handy if using it for an office presentation. I do wish it had the built in Bluetooth for convenience and ease of expanding the sound when needed instead of depending on whatever your external source is.

For the price, it's hard to beat! We needed a last minute projector for a conference and BB had it in stock. It ran great with both Mac's and PC's. As others have stated the fan is a bit louder but did not interfere with the presentations at all.

I purchased this projector to conduct business presentations in meeting rooms that lack built-in A/V hookups. My current setup relies entirely on an iPad running PowerPoint presentations directly from cloud storage, connected via an HDMI cord and an iPad HDMI adapter. Brightness & Picture Quality The meeting spaces I use vary from completely dark to brightly lit. During my first setup, I kept the overhead room lights on and was incredibly impressed as the picture quality remained crisp and vibrant despite the ambient light. Audio & Connectivity The projector's built-in speaker is decent, but the audio quality is a bit thin. If you want better sound, you will need to route the audio through your source device. Fortunately, I was able to use my iPad's settings to output the sound directly to an external Bluetooth speaker. The only real downside is hardware connectivity; there is no 3.5mm audio jack for wired external speakers. As long as you don't mind using Bluetooth or your device's built-in audio, this projector is an excellent, highly capable tool for professionals on the move.

This projector is an outstanding investment for anyone seeking remarkable quality at an affordable price. It delivers impressively bright images with vibrant, lifelike colors that bring your content to life, whether you're watching movies or giving presentations. Its versatile adjustment features make it easy to fit perfectly into any screening area, and setup is a breeze—even for first-time users. While there are minor drawbacks, such as some pixelation around text and a lighted border visible when reducing the image size, these are easily outweighed by the projector’s overall performance and exceptional value.

This unit is very impressive! Picture quality is very good with crisp edges. I’m using my unit in my party barn which I have it mirroring my smart TV. Great way to watch my favorite sport teams while partying with family and friends. I would recommend this to those who are looking for a great projector at this price point.

The projector is good. The connections you purchased, which the store said I needed, were the wrong ones. I had to return, and the store was very helpful in getting me the correct ones and apologizing for the employee who gave me the wrong one initially
