Purchased for use as outdoor movie projector and it works well for this but there a few things to note (later in the review). This is pretty much a plug and play device for what I wanted to use it for. I'm pretty sure that connecting to a PC would be as easy as it was for me to setup for movies. NOTE: This is only a projector, you will need a source, something to connect to that is capable of playing what you want. I have tried a laptop, XBox1S, Nintendo Switch and Amazon FireTV. They all work to project an image using HDMI. There is no audio OUT from the projector and the built in speaker should not be the only speaker. With this being said. The laptop and Switch worked well because they have a 3.5mm audio jack that allows for the connection to speakers. The Xbox1S only has a digital audio output from the console, BUT, the wireless controller did allow for the 3.5mm jack to connect to and work to send the sound to the speakers (adjustment for sound settings needed for the controller). The Amazon FireTV only has digital audio out. Unless you connect the audio out from the FireTV to a real AV receiver it will be difficult to hear the audio.

I initially had purchased a 720p model since it was the only available at the store, which was already very good, but then I decided to return it and order this 1080p model online. I do not regret it. The resolution is so good that it's impossible to make out the pixels unless standing less than 3 feet from the projection screen. The image is bright even during the day or with lights on at night, and the color is phenomenal. I've been doubling this projector for business usage and to watch TV shows and movies at home, and the color is so vivid even projecting to a regular wall. The WiFi function makes it even easier to present without wires, I honestly wouldn't imagine purchasing any other projector.

This was recommended to me by someone who works in best buy. I had an older espon projector and wanted to upgrade. This projector has great video. The picture is nice and bright and has great quality. I am mounting this on a ceiling and have a screen installed on the wall. When I tested it, everything looks amazing. Only reason this does not get 5 stars is because the projector does not have audio output and the speaker is not that great. Other than that I would recommend this to everyone. I mounted a wall outlet device that connects to a receiver, so people can plug the sound into that device.

I got this projector not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised at the light and clarity of the projected image. Better than most. It even has decent audio built in, nice in a pinch. Lots of settings to get just the right image, fairly lightweight as well. Cons: Noticed occasional disturbance in the image in certain cases. Very difficult to connect via WiFi.

I was try to find a projector that would work flawlessly with visualization software (Resolume Arena 4). This projector was very easy to set up . I am going to use it with my DJ system to go along with my music production. I also love that it's wireless and toucan even control it from a smartphone

We used this projector at our annual sketch comedy festival and found it to be an incredible product for the price. This model is sold noting that it's primary function is for presentations and not home theater but the HDMI availability really takes this projector up to a low-end home theater option. I did use separate audio out into a stereo speaker system from my computer but the projector can produce audio if needed.

The EX7240 projector has a clear bright picture that is crisp even with the lights full up in the room. It can handle small screen or theater sized screens with it's wide projection and is capable of rear projection. It is easy to set up and control thru the remote or on-screen menu. It will handle wireless as well as direct HDMI connection. I have not found anything to not like about this projector it has passed every test we have put it through! Very good quality for a reasonable price.

This projector worked intuitively right out of the box. Plenty of features and a professional looking image projected from multiple different sources. This was exactly what our business was looking for.

I have nothing to say but good things about this projector. I only wished it had the mirror to the cellphone capability like those small led projectors like the miroir's and ben q's. The lumens are so bright that at even when using during the day you could still see a clear picture. I like the wifi capability but i wish they would update the software soon i will probably use it for a home theater setup in the future other than presentations.

Was concerned with having trouble with quick set up and use with the wireless feature. Turned out exceptionally well and smooth. Was able to take out of box set up and use instantly.

Works great and is easy to use. Brightness is great for semi lighted rooms for those who can’t black out the space. Definition is beautiful and crisp.

This camera is very user friendly. It has a great quality picture. Best designed for movies and sports, but can also be utilized for presentations.

Good basic projector. Very bright. Easy setup. Only fault is that there no way to extract sound from the projector hdmi to go into a sound system

The wireless is awesome. Image is super sharp and the control and APPs make it easy to manage. It would be great if there was a way to find it on the wireless.

The Epson projector was easy to connect and set up. The overall projection quality was very good.

I mostly use this projector for ministry presentations, it really works well and I love the clarity it produces. It's really a great projector!! Very easy to use. Great projector, a little pricey but worth it but the wifi capability makes all the difference

The image look great. Is easy to install. You can project your phone too.

I purchased this for my app biz - I've been in the process of trying to learn C# and I can tell you - having a projector that syncs via thunder, HDMI, mini HDMI & WiFI makes for a big difference in comparison to having white boards and dry erase markers all over the place. We have been able to pull up our IDE and work thru code logic , do examples and what not. It's a fantastic tool for presentations and I can see it being used in so many other ways. Note to future buyers, I would not recommend purchasing this as a mean's to get theater quality video for entertainment purposes. The projection simply isnt sharp enough for that. I would look elsewhere, possibly if 4K projects exist. This isnt really for entertainment but for work and the lighting - projection really makes it worth every dollar.
