Ernie Watts Encounter - The Wonder Bag - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Ernie Watts and his incredible jazz band are here to take you through some of Stevie Wonder's greatest compositions. Every writer has that dream. It's the way he hears it and feels it and hopes the artist will create a living emotion, tangible yet intangible, a switch to ignite the soul. Ernie Watts has given me not the writer's dream on any particular song, but an album full of it. Every arrangement gives a unique flavor which Mr. Watts teases with and finally overpowers the listener into their own self-explanatory world. I had expected him to bring forth that certain something, but instead Ernie Watts has found the magic key, opened the door and stole the very depth of soul.- Stevie Wonder. Originally released on Vault Records in 1970, this is a soul-jazz master stroke that you will not want to miss with tracks including 'Never Had a Dream Come True', 'I Was Made to Love Her' and 'My Cherie Amour' Album Tracks 1. Nothing's Too Good for My Baby 2. Never Had a Dream Come True 3. I'd Be a Fool Right Now 4. My Cherie Amour 5. You Met Your Match 6. Ain't No Lovin' 7. I Was Made to Love Her 8. Angie Girl 9. Ain't That Asking for Trouble
