The famed Cuban bandleader Arsenio Rodriguez' former conga player Feliz InchChocolateInch Alfonso formed Estrellas de Chocolate in 1959. Aside from Alfonso, the conjunto consisted of lead vocalists InchChinoInch Lesn Lahera Wilson and Aristides Valmaseda; Agustsn Cabrera, 2nd voice and guitar; Filiberto Hernandez Fuentes, 3rd voice; InchEl gorilaInch Albertini, trumpet and director; David Palomares, piano and co-director; Andres InchNio RiveraInch Echevarria, tres and arranger; Sergio de Cuba, bass; InchPichiInch on bongos; and in the early 60's they were joined by the great Papi Oviedo on electric tres guitar. The album InchMi Son Pilon,Inch was recorded in the mid 1960's and features some of the hottest Afro-Cuban rhythms of the period.
