This season feels very self referential with many plots and jokes poking fun at themselves, starting with the first episode all about campaigning for an Emmy. Some of the episodes have a multi-episode arc that plays out like when Brian gets kicked out the house over a tasteless tweet and some experiment a bit like in the one where Stewie talks to a therapist in a scene that fills almost the whole episode. Good stuff.

I have all Family guy released on home videos. I am disappointed that this season does not have a slip cover. It looks like its been packaged in cheap plastic case. I still like Family guy despite having around for so many years and its still funny.

love family guy and have ben watching them since the original first run when they got cancelled. The series has started to show its signs of wear and tear but overall still love the series and episodes.

Family Guy is still funny - and Stewie still has some of the best lines - but as a whole the season is a little uneven. The episode - Send in Steve, Please" is the funniest. Definitely worth the buy.

It's still Family Guy, but it doesn't have the same feel of earlier seasons. You watch all the episodes, but don't have much desire to re-watch any of them. It's okay, just not great.

Almost nothing is off limits on this DVD. My favorite episodes are the ones where Stewie & Brian have "On The Road" adventures.

After 16+ seasons of Family Guy, they still know how to push the limits of cartoon and still very hilarious.

Season 16 of the animated series opens with Peter trying to make "Family Guy" similar to other award-winning shows in order to win an Emmy. Later the family gets a nanny for the kids so that Peter and Lois can focus on their relationship, Chris loses a valuable item, Meg takes up drinking, Brian gets kicked out of the house because of a racist tweet, and Stewie is forced to speak to a psychologist. Among the guest voice actors for the season are Danny Trejo, Ian MacKellen, Bill Maher, and Louis C.K.

At this point, Family Guy was still okay, but was experiencing a noticeable decline from where it was only few years earlier. If you are a collector, then you will want to get this. If not, then I suggest waiting to get it when it is heavily discounted. While no where near as good as when it was at its peak, season 16 still has a number of laughs and is still watchable.

I love family guy. Last season I started to notice the decline in quality; this season it’s readily more apparent. I feel as if Seth is getting tired of it honestly. Still worth it, but not nearly as great as earlier seasons. I’m still a fan.

Sixteen season on, Family Guy continues to deliver. For those who have stuck with the show this long, you probably already own this. For those new to the series, you should really give it a try.

A great addition to my collection. I prefer physical media -- so it make Family Guy marathons convenient whenever I want.

Just another dvd added to the collection. Like The Simpsons, I also like Family Guy. Yeah it's edgy at times, but it still funny

This is another great Family Year -- unfortunately it suffers from digital distortion. I'm surprised the fox let it be released that way
