Fender - Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster Electric Guitar, Maple Fingerboard, Olympic White

Under the banner of the Artist Series, the Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster Electric Guitar, with its Maple Fingerboard and Olympic White finish, encapsulates the spirit of musical innovation and collaboration. This stylish and high-quality instrument is a tribute to the legendary "Voodoo Chile," Jimi Hendrix, who revolutionized the music world with his unique use of the Stratocaster guitar and its versatile sonic capabilities. This durable and authentic Fender guitar is designed to replicate the fiery tone and distinctive playing feel that Hendrix was renowned for. It's packed with vintage tone and classic style, featuring signature touches and unique appointments inspired by Hendrix's iconic "flipped-over" guitars. The reverse '70s-style headstock, mirroring Hendrix's preference for playing right-handed guitars upside down, alters the relative length of the strings, adding a unique playing feel and more snap to the treble strings. In a nod to authenticity, the single-coil bridge pickup is mounted with a reverse slant, generating a warm sound with enhanced upper harmonics and definition on the bass strings, while adding girth to the treble strings. The legacy of Hendrix is further immortalized in the reversed headstock, adorned with Hendrix's signature. The signature Stratocaster model also features a special neck plate, engraved with a shoulders-up silhouette of Hendrix and an "Authentic Hendrix" inscription. To capture the pure electric tone that is a fundamental part of Hendrix's legacy, this signature model is equipped with three reverse-mounted American Vintage '65 single-coil Stratocaster pickups. This reverses the pole piece stagger, subtly changing the string-to-string volume balance for an authentic Hendrix-style tone. The 9.5" fingerboard radius of this reliable instrument is slightly flatter than a vintage-style radius, providing a naturally comfortable fret-hand feel while making it easier to bend notes. The Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster Electric Guitar is more than just a musical instrument; it's a piece of music history, designed for those who appreciate the artistry and innovation of one of the world's most influential guitarists.
