Q: can this particular fire pit table be converted to natural gas?

A: Hi Tiger - yes, this unit ships with the necessary orifice to switch out in the burner in order to use with NG.

Q: Is this fire table safe to use on a timbertek (composite) deck? Will it damage decking from heat?

A: Hi Mike - the amount of heat radiated downward beneath the burner is minimal - our gas fire pits are fine for composite surfaces. Be sure to maintain adequate clearances from the burner to any higher surfaces such as railings or posts.
