The market for 36" Induction ranges is pretty slim in the US. Of the brands/models available, some are poorly reviewed. We wanted a range with control knobs as opposed to touch-buttons which reviewers say are difficult to manage, especially if they get wet. We came across this F&P through Internet searching, and pulled the trigger. It looks and works great! (we got the classic design). It's easy to clean, and heat control on the induction top is excellent. Note that only certain cookware will work with the induction top. It needs to be magnetic, and how strongly magnetic matters. We had one pan that was slightly magnetic, and it did not work well. There are multiple modes for the induction cooktop including combining heating areas into a "super area", as well as pushing extra power to one of the areas (while constraining others). For the most part, we don't use those. With the right cookware, things heat up really quickly. The oven is really nice as well (although smaller than some of the equivalent ranges) with lots of cooking modes. The cooking shelves slide out on rails really nicely. The fan will turn on right when you start the oven, and continue after the oven is turned off until it cools. It's not very loud, and completely acceptable in my opinion. The only thing that could be added is a light switch for the oven. The light will turn on when you open the oven door. There is a setting to have the light illuminated all the time when the oven is on, but nothing to intermittently turn the light on without opening the door should you want to check on what's happening in the oven. Also, depending on the cookware, and the induction intensity, the cooktop can make some high pitched sounds when engaged. Our kids complain about it sometimes. We added the riser in the back (separate purchase) since our backsplash didn't go down low enough. The range height is adjustable to match the countertops. This range comes with an electrical outlet plug. BestBuy will typically add plug to the order with the assumption that the appliance will need one. The BestBuy cable is not needed (they will accept it as a return, but it's a hassle). All in all, we're very happy with this range. I never get extended warranties, but did get one for this as induction ranges in general have close to 10% repair rates.

This range will be the centerpiece of your kitchen. The deep red color pops in our black kitchen, and the induction cooktop is great. It heat food up quickly, and it is much easier to clean than our gas range was. We decided that the 36" was a good compromise between the 30" that was a little too small for Thanksgiving dinner, and the 48" that would eat up more cabinet space. Our friends and family have complimented how great it looks.

looks great in my new kitchen. only thing is that the edges scratch easily next to the glass top.

LOVE my new range! I call it the Porsche of ranges. You don’t need to purchase a cord with it as the electrical cord is attached to the range.

We are so pleased with this stoves performance! It took a bit to learn how to cook well on it especially after decades of natural gas. My husband was developing pretty severe allergies to natural gas despite adequate ventilation. But learn it we did. It has made me a better cook! The oven is also great! Efficient, even temperature. get for baking and roasting. I also love the warming drawer. Perfect for cold nights.

We absolutely love our new Fisher & Paykel range. We just received it but it seems to cook and bake perfectly not to mention it looks amazing and is the new center piece of our kitchen.

Excellent! Works great: if you look for a great induction range, this is it! The oven works great too. Easy to use and easy to clean, looks beautiful.

Love this stove. However it seems there are 2 front burners that should turn down to a lower output of flame. Turning these down to "low" does not change the flame output at all!
