Transform your child's room with this twin-over-twin bunk bed, efficiently designed to maximize space without compromising style, comfort, or safety. This solid wood bedframe is not only perfect for siblings sharing a room, but also an excellent choice for sleepovers when your children’s friends come to visit. A convertible design allows you to utilize this as a traditional bunk bed connected with an angled, reversible, easy-to-climb, five-step ladder that can be installed on either side and 28 inches of headroom when using a six-inch thick mattress, or split it into two separate twin beds, providing flexibility as your needs change. Parents will love the added amenity of 12.75 inches of underbed storage when stacked or separated, perfect for neatly storing toys, games, or books. Headboards and footboards on both beds along with full-length slatted guardrails on the top bunk and an anti-tipping mechanism that must be fixed to the wall provide peace of mind for parents. For safety purposes, the top bunk should not be used by children under six years old. Crafted from solid wood, the frame is robust and durable, with each bed designed to hold 500 lbs. static weight. This bunk bed is engineered with slatted wooden bases, eliminating the need for box springs and, while six-inch mattresses are recommended, it can accommodate standard mattresses up to eight inches thick. Complete the look for your child’s bedroom by pairing this piece with our Dallas nightstands and dressers. This bunk bed ships in two boxes, so please confirm both boxes are present before assembly. For your convenience, step-by-step instructions and tools are included. Maintenance is quick and easy by wiping clean with a damp cloth. This bunk bed combines functionality with contemporary design to create an inviting and practical sleep space with safety parents will love and comfort kids will adore.
