Flashpoint - FlashBack Lux Senior Retro Camera Flash, Godox Lux Senior, Black

What makes the Flashpoint FlashBack Senior Speedflash stand out is its unique blend of vintage aesthetics and modern functionality. This on-camera flash unit is a compact reincarnation of the original Automatic Speedlight from 1972, combined with the reflector flash design of the 1930s. It's not just a nostalgic piece; it's a powerful tool for photographers of all levels. The FlashBack Senior Speedflash features a single-pin hot shoe trigger, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of cameras, from popular brands like Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Olympus, and Pentax, to classic models from Exacta, Contax, Leica, Konica, Linhof, and more. This broad compatibility makes it a versatile addition to any photographer's kit.Unlike many modern flashes, the FlashBack Senior Speedflash's automation is f-stop related on the flash body, not TTL camera linked. This means that once the lens is set to the suggested displayed f-stop, you can expect accurate and rich exposure in your photos. The flash unit's retro fan shape, which opens and closes in a circular 9-blade silver dish, is a nod to the days when reflectors were the norm. This design, along with the built-in rechargeable lithium-ion cells, ensures dependable, uninterrupted flash photography. While the FlashBack Senior Speedflash doesn't have built-in wireless radio R2 technology, it does offer manual or automatic mode. The light delivers dependable, repeatable output in 7 user-controlled output levels in manual mode. In auto mode, the flash takes control of the exposure, but the photographer still sets the appropriate f-stop on the camera body or lens. The FlashBack Senior Speedflash provides exceptionally even coverage at a fixed 28mm focal length flash spread. It also features an advanced integrated optical receiver for both S1 and S2 pre-flash TTL systems triggers. This ensures balanced coverage over a wide range of focal lengths, without the need for a speedlite crippled zoom head function.Whether you're a beginner, an occasional user, an amateur, or a professional photographer, the Flashpoint FlashBack Senior Speedflash is a reliable and versatile tool. Its compact size, powerful light output, and integrated auto functions make it a natural choice for any photographer. Please note, a Shoe adapter WE4711 is required for Sony cameras.
