With a large 3 ft. by 8 ft. platform and a 600 lb. weight capacity (evenly distributed), it provides ample and sturdy storage space. The rack is height adjustable from 22 to 40 inches below the ceiling, making it suitable for installation above most garage doors. Its 26.4-inch ceiling brackets are designed to span two joists for enhanced stability, while the welded grid and frame offer added structural integrity. The durable, scratch-resistant powder coat finish ensures long-lasting performance. The rack can be mounted either parallel or perpendicular to the direction of ceiling joists. Note: Installation requires two people and basic tools, including a ladder, drill, tape measure, eye protection, and a stud finder.
