The price is compelling, especially when compared to the competition. So I took a chance and bought one. Followed the assembly instructions, and was immediately disappointed. First, the platform on top that the speaker rests on is made of plastic, not aluminum and steel as described. I might have overlooked that, except the bigger problem is that there is NO means of securing the speaker! No screw, no clamp, no bracket, nothing that would hold the speaker in place. If you bump it with the vacuum cleaner, or if the dog or a child brushes against it, your Sonos speaker will topple to the floor while the stand happily remains standing! Incredibly bad design. I returned it.
