I don't like being held hostage to proprietary battery packaging that is overpriced for what it is. I use a separate LiPO pack for the goggles, half the cost 30% more capacity, and you just need a plug adaptor. But not these for the FPV. It pains me to overpay for less but what choice do I have? I already bought the FPV. I will build my own FPV drone next and pay much less for battery with greater capacity and longer fly time.

These batteries work great so I will start with that and it works as described. but $300 for 2 batteries and a power splitter. The only way to charge the battery is the proprietary dji charger. Now the connector on the battery makes sense you need a lot of voltage and amps for 89mph drone but give a option to charge the whole bank with a USB-c charger so people on camping trips or have a 90watt usb-c charger laying around or put the usb-c port on the battery that works as well.

I like having 2 additional batteries, would prefer 3 more, but no way to charge them all simultaneously. DJI should have used USB C ports for charging, but some proprietary 2-prong setup. This product is necessary for flying FPV, but way too expensive for a single battery charging setup, non-standard charging port and performance.

I've owned multiple DJI drones over the past couple of years, from the Mavic 2 Pro to the Air to the current FPV. These are Lipo batteries. Most modern Lipo chargers have intelligent circuits for charging. I wish DJI would make the batteries standard across platforms instead of creating different form factors for each product. These batteries are way overpriced. The battery that came with my DJI FPV was DOA. Trying to get support and replacement via DJI is painful. They just aren't setup to take care of things like the batteries. Luckily I had purchased through Best Buy and was able to return it and Best Buy immediately replaced it. I still have not flown the drone yet due to time constraints. I wish I have purchased the additional warranty from Best Buy now. I would recommend getting that. It is expensive but with no questions asked replacement, especially on something so new and different for DJI it would be worth it.

I wish there were other options for batteries. For $150 a battery you would think they would give me more the 10 minutes of flight. Having 3 batteries now it’s still not enough flight time. The drone is amazing just the runtime is aweful. They also take forever to charge compared to my RC Lipo charger.

It is a must have for the FPV drone. Doesn't hold its charge that long it seems to deplete if you let the battery set for anytime at all. it's best to charge it and then go fly.
