This album includes some of Austin's finest musicians Freddie's longtime band-mate and Explosives co-founder Cam King plays lead guitar. Lloyd Maines plays pedal steel guitar, dobro and mandolin. Floyd Domino plays keyboards, Howard Kalish plays fiddle. Freddie's longtime friend and road guitarist David Hargraves plays slide guitar on a track and Freddie's former Jerry Jeff Walker band-mate John Inmon brought his considerable guitar skills to a track. Freddie's secret weapon is Layton DePenning. This legendary Austin, TX talent brought his skills as recording engineer, bass guitarist, six string guitarist, and backing vocalist.
