We bought this to store meats and bread, that we provide for students for weekend bags. We were looking for something that would fit well in a large classroom was still being able to hold plenty of items. We were able to fit multiple packages of meats in over 20 of the bread in the freezer with plenty a room to go. It took a very short time for the freezer to cool down, maybe less than 24 hours and we were able to put all the meat in. I also included a picture of all the meat we put in the freezer and still had could have doubled up and still have room.

This is a great freezer and the foods were at zero degrees within a few hours. It is quiet and well lit inside.

20 year old freezer finally died. Needed this to replace the old one. Walls are thicker and more insulated than the old model. Has light on the front to alert you that it is running. There is no alarm that sounds when power is out on the freezer (I have seen this on other models). Overall pleased with purchase. We'll see if it lasts as long as the previous model.

We had a small freezer but needed a larger one for our growing business. We saw this one on sale and looked into it. Bought it at an excellent price. It has a lot of room. We also really like the LED light inside.

This freezer should quickly pay for itself in saved electrical usage over my old, dinosaur 1950s chest freezer, which was costing me over $500/year to run, more than the cost of this freezer itself, which uses only $60-$70/year even with my high electrical tier rates in northern California. Installed the freezer and my overall electrical usage immediately dropped 30%! Only question is, will this freezer last, which only time will tell. Like the interior bright LED light and spaciousness. VERY quiet--hard to tell it is even on. Only quibble is (as other reviewers have noted) this could have used another basket or two, instead of just one it came with. Extra baskets need to be purchased separately and ~$20 for a plastic basket seems a bit much. Rollers would also have been nice for moving the freezer and cleaning.

1) The freezer was on sale and back-ordered online. The local Best Buy store helped me to find the closest store with the freezer and set up the paperwork for me to pick it up. The customer service staff was very helpful. 2) The freezer itself is sturdy with wider walls due to the extra insulation. Have had a couple power outages for a few hours with no temperature increase. It has a light in the door, one of my requirements. The outside temperature control is on the side which means you have to be careful what is next to the freezer. It would be helpful if the freezer came with another basket.

I bought this for my husband. The Best Buy guys set it up so no hassle there. It works great! It comes with 1 basket, need to buy another one. No complaints so far.... we've had it for 1 month.

We replaced a 30 yr old freezer with this model. The old freezer was still working well but we needed to lower our electric bill. This freezer is the same cubic ft as the old but it measures about 10" wider due to the thicker insulated walls. I have not received my electric bill yet but I'm hoping for a big reduction! If this freezer does in fact reduce our electric bill as I expect, we will be buying a second one.

My wife is a great cook and loves to stock up on foods stuffs. So our refrigerator freezer was not enough. This freezer is just the perfect size for our basement and roomy enough for our storage needs

I use this at my store as my meat holder. It holds temperature very well. It hasn't developed ice that inhibits it from closing yet. My only gripe is that the handle feels pretty flimsy. I think that someone could easily break it with enough wear and tear. The compactness was what we needed and I'm so glad I didn't purchase the large one. Conns wouldn't price match this item and I usually dislike purchasing from Best Buy but this was a helluva deal!

This came delivered with dents and a broken handle. Oh wait it was a discounted open box never mind. When this kicks in it's very quiet. This is a good thing because it's in my bedroom so I won't have to walk downstairs to get ice cream. I keep beer in there too because cold beer is good. The hinges are heavy duty. I bet the hinges could be used to catapult the entire unit in case of attack. But I'll bemove the beer and ice cream first. Great unit.

Love this deep freezer. It's big, stores a lot of our frozen items. Very quiet. Would highly recommend

. . . So far. Haven't had it for very long--a month or so--but it seems to be doing what it's supposed to do--keep food frozen. No issues of which to speak. Plenty of room. Bought five milk crates to keep items separated and they fit perfectly. Main purpose for the purchase was to keep venison harvested over the winter; so, I am looking forward to fulfilling that purpose this hunting season. Purchased a different freezer last year and had it returned (different store) due to the fact that when power was removed--aka: power outage--the freezer had to be unplugged for several minutes before it would reset itself to be powered back on. Not a efficient option for us as we get a lot of brownouts where we live and cannot always be available for unplugging/re-plugging (it would have been quite a pain to do so).

We are very happy with this freezer size. For the average family, it could be really big... however, we have 2 growing boys that love ice cream, pizza, waffles, and lots of other food.... we need the space. It comes with one basket. I wish it had more. We will buy a couple of them from frigidaire eventually.

We like this quality freezer, it fits perfectly in our corner and works great.

I like Frigidaire products and not to many stores sell them. Good freezer, just the size I've been looking for and reasonably priced.

I was worried that 10 sq feet was not enough room so I opted for this 15 sq ft. I definitely could have gotten away with the 10 ft. There is soo much extra room...my guess is it could hold several hundred pounds of meat. Runs cold ...not much noise.

I bought this as a replacement. So far, it's been doing a great job. There is plenty of room and it comes with two baskets for smaller items. I have an energy tester that has been plugged in since I got it. It says this freezer is costing my $20.74 a year! Much better than the old one that was costing me $223 year! Ouch.
