I hope you get a good one and don't have my experience. I purchased this brand new from Best Buy and had the refrigerator delivered on June 10, 2024. On August 11, 2024 the refrigerator starting making a very loud fan noise like a helicopter was above our house. This went on for about 5 hours and would only stop when the door would open. The loud noise and fans finally stopped but now the freezer is no longer cold, the ice melted all over our floor, and the refrigerator side is also not as cold as before. The "High Temp" light is on and it constantly beeps non-stop every 30 seconds. We've had this refrigerator for 2 months! Since it was a weekend, I had to wait until Monday to call Frigidaire support. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes early Monday morning, their solution was to unplug it, plug it back in, and wait 24 hours. I said that was not acceptable. I had already lost a bunch of food since we went grocery shopping that Sunday afternoon. The agent was finally willing to schedule a service call, which I was surprised I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Still waiting on that, will update after. I asked if the warranty covered food loss, the agent said that is not covered. Pretty unbelievable! I went from a horrible experience owning a Samsung refrigerator to now this with Frigidaire. At least the Samsung didn't break down until after a year owning it. I might have made the wrong decision about this one. Before it broke, this Frigidaire unit was already louder than normal. It looks nice but is definitely not fingerprint resistant. Ice cubes are a smaller shape, everything was fine.

This has been a horrible experience. First, I was given the wrong measurements in order the wrong refrigerator. Then I ordered the replacement and it was sent to the wrong address. Today I got sent one all scratched up with food particles inside. I have to use it until the replacement can come, so it is plugged in. It sounds like a train is coming through my kitchen. On top of that, no instructions on how to prepare the ice in the water to make sure it is working correctly. It just has some sort of timer that started making noises. I’m really worried that when I get the replacement it is going to be just as loud and horrible as the one that is sitting in my kitchen right now. I highly recommend looking for a different brand. I’m afraid that whenever the fourth a delivery attempt is made I get sent another used one that is scratched up. More importantly, I’m afraid that I’ll be settled with a horribly loud refrigerator.

This is the second one they delivered. 5 to 10 times a day it makes a big bang noise and groans for 8 seconds. And it runs Non-Stop until you open the door and then it stops running. You close the door and it starts running again. My electric bill this month is outrageous because this thing never stops running.

First thing I noticed was the horrific, distorted paneling on the front of the doors. The stainless steel looks like it has huge soft dents and waves all through it. I found another fridge i wanted to exchange it for, they had one on display at Lowes. When we walked in the door at Lowes there was the fridge im leaving the review about.. on its on on sale, and it looked exactly as bad. I went back to the fridge section and saw the one I am buying and it was perfect. In fact none of the 20 I looked at looked remotly as bad. For those who have bought this fridge have a good look at it. The ice maker is woefully slow, the water comes out warm for a good 10 seconds before going cold, like a tap. And it is loud! My advice is go look at it somewhere first and compare the build quality to others in the same price range. Its night and day

They delivered it with 3 big scratches on the face. Offered me 175 to live with the scratches. I said I’ll check with the wife. He said that’s fine, just call us back and let us know. Then the next day they’d only give me 50.00. I said yesterday you said 175.00. He says “Well why didn’t you take it? I said the guy told me I could call and give him my decision. NOPE! 50.00 and nothing more.

Delivered extremely damaged. So damaged, did not take it off the truck. Warehouse manager said deliver anyway, she will take it. Then was told they could re-deliver in about 60 ish days. Cancelled order and purchased another, from Lowes, with next day delivery. Very disappointed in Best Buy. I buy a lot from Best Buy. No apologies just nothing they could do. Damage is front right lower corner where water line is located.

I’m on my second refrigerator because the ice maker doesn’t work. The whole system keeps overheating and I never had problems with my previous GE model. Such a disappointment for a refrigerator that’s over a thousand dollars.

Only had it 2 days & my wife already hates it. There's no light in the crisper, so you can't see anything in either drawer. I have searched and searched and can't find a motion-activated stick-on light that will work in the cold. Hugely disappointing, and we can't return it because we need a refrigerator.

Foolishly, thinking that other reviewers were exaggerating and because I so definitely wanted a unit with adjustable shelves, I ignored the negative reviews of this unit. Here are the cons: (1) It's noisy. It's very noisy. It was initially quite loud at start-up, but that was gone by the end of the day. The problem is the nearly incessant hum that remained. Two weeks after installation I've only heard it not humming twice when the door was closed. When one opens one of the doors, the hum stops. This is so irritating as it reminds one of what silence is like. Any person who spends a lot of time in the kitchen, or who loves to gather with friends and/or family around the kitchen table, should be warned. They're either going to have to deal with an annoying hum or turn on a radio to override the noise coming from the fridge. (2) When one uses the ice dispenser ice spews out all over the floor. This is true no matter how high one holds a glass and regardless of whether the ice sought is cubed or crushed. (3) The tray at the bottom of the ice dispenser if a flat plastic gray one which dirties up promptly with stains from the melted ice. So plan on having to wipe it clean frequently. It should have been a grilled tray. (4) On the coldest setting the things inside are not as cold as I like, particularly the liquids. (5) The little booklet that comes with the unit is entitled "Refrigerator use & care". Inside there's nothing about the actual use and care. There are lots of warnings about this and that, information on installation, removing the door, and connecting the water supply, but silence on the actual "use & care" of the unit. A guide to changing the inside temperatures and the actual daily "use" of the item would have been appreciated. (Perhaps such information is on-line, but corporations shouldn't ask me to purchase their appliances and then ask me to use my time, which clearly my most valuable asset, to go searching on the internet.) (6) Another con which may pertain only to me. When I went to the Frigidaire sight to register the unit I was told that the model number FRSS2623AS was invalid and that no such model existed. The pros: (1) It has adjustable shelves. When I first began searching for a new refrigerator I was shocked to discover how many units came with static shelves. Who wants that? (2) Though it will go shooting all over the floor when one uses the dispenser, there is definitely an adequate amount of ice available. So, while the pros are nice they are far outweighed by the cons--particularly the incessant hum and, to a lesser extent, the way that ice spews out onto the floor when using the ice dispenser. I don't buy appliances with any great frequency so I'm unaware of what the standards are now, but I'm really surprised that a unit with the flaws noted here was ever designed in the first place and then approved to be sold by the company's executives. That's the reason for my very low rating. I do appreciate the pros, but with a few adjustments Frigidaire could have had an exceptional product.

The refrigerator is fantastic. The delivery was horrible. The delivery team dented the fridge, damaged my floor. Customer service would have me call one insurance company then I was sent to their 3rd party vendor. I was told that I have to pay for the estimate, and it was my job to prove they damaged the floor even though I called sent photos during the installation. Bestbuy told me they’d call me and did not. Horrible customer support that lacks follow through. I have wasted 4 hours on the phone trying to get help. If you hire a 3rd party to deliver your products Bestbuy is still responsible to support and handle issues not make the customer make all the calls and pay for estimates. Overall I love the product but the lock of support from Bestbuy is incredibly disappointing. Finally the drivers walked out, and left the door off the hinges .

If I could give it a zero, i would. Toe kick would not lineup, ice maker light did not work, and it made a constant loud noise, would only stop when you opened either door, but started again as soon as door was closed. Frigidaire set appointment to come out in 3 days but cancelled that day and couldn’t reschedule for almost 3 weeks. Best Buy great on allowing return.

The refrigerator didn’t work properly from day one. I had to bump up the level to the coldest just to get it 48 degrees on the refrigerator side. It made a low humming noise the first day and hasn’t stopped since. It barely makes ice and when you try to dispense it you only get 3 cubes and that is all. The crushed cube setting has never worked at all. It’s a shame because I had the older version of this fridge since 2007 and it never broke down till it eventually died this month. That ice maker never quit and gave all the ice you’d ever want till the end. I should have just spent the money to fix it and saved probably. These refrigerators now will probably not last 17 years anymore.

I have had this fridge since October 2023 and have had to place three warranty claims on it. Every time it has began to make a horrible jack hammering sound; when the fan is running and the sound lasts between 45-60 minutes, it’s awful! The ice maker is always SO noisy!!! That is definitely something the manufacturer should look into! Maybe I got a lemon or maybe buyer beware!!

Dear Best Buy Customer Service, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the handling of a recent purchase and delivery of a Frigidaire refrigerator from your store. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for many years, but the experience I’ve had with this purchase has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. The refrigerator was delivered on September 14th but upon inspection, I noticed multiple dents on the appliance and a broken plastic vent. I immediately contacted Best Buy customer service to report the issue and requested a replacement or a resolution. However, I was told that the timeframe for returns or exchanges had passed, which I felt was unfair considering the appliance arrived damaged. I continued to reach out for assistance, and due to my Total Membership, I was able to schedule two technicians to visit my home to assess the damage. Despite the technician's visit and confirmation that the refrigerator was unrepairable, Best Buy has continued to refuse a replacement or exchange. One technician even mentioned that such delivery issues are common and that Best Buy is not always responsible for the deliveries, which leaves me with little recourse. I was advised to contact the manufacturer, Frigidaire, despite the fact that the issue stems from Best Buy's delivery process. As a loyal customer, I find this resolution entirely unacceptable. The product was delivered in an unsatisfactory condition, and my numerous attempts to resolve the issue with Best Buy have been ignored or dismissed. I am now requesting that Best Buy: Honor an exchange or return for the damaged refrigerator. Or, alternatively, provide a suitable resolution through repair or replacement of the damaged parts. If Best Buy is unable or unwilling to assist, I will be forced to escalate this issue further, including contacting Frigidaire and considering consumer protection options available to me. I trust that Best Buy values its customers and will work quickly to resolve this matter.

I will never buy another Frigidaire refrigerator again. This fridge stopped working less than 2 months after it was delivered. Unfortunately, stopped functioning right after my return window closed. I called Best Buy because I bought a 5-year protection plan BUT turns out if the fridge needs repair within a year after purchase, you HAVE to go through the manufacturer’s warranty. Well I contacted Frigidaire and it’s already been 3 weeks without a refrigerator and I’m being told it’ll be another 2-3 weeks before they can repair it. Best Buy will not touch the fridge until after one year…..very frustrating and disappointing.

After four months of ownership, this refrigerator has presented multiple significant issues that raise concerns about its long‑term reliability. The compressor failed unexpectedly, leaving the unit completely nonfunctional. I have now been without a working refrigerator for over a week, and the process of securing replacement parts through the manufacturer has been slow and inconvenient. I was informed that the necessary components will take an additional three weeks or possibly longer to arrive. Would not recommend!

The delivery drivers cancelled the first scheduled delivery at the arrival time, then customer service said the soonest they could deliver was another week later (two weeks at this point). You couldn’t get in touch with anyone at the actual store it came from, even the store number directs to the main call center. When it finally arrived it wouldn’t cool, and the warranty apparently doesn’t cover that for open box. I decided at this point I would just rather return it and go somewhere else, but the soonest they said they could pick up the return was another week out. So now I’ll just have a nonworking fridge in the way for another week. Needless to say, I doubt I’ll go back to Best Buy for any appliance purchases. The floor associates/manager were helpful and nice, but everything else was an absolute nightmare to deal with.

Within a year, ice and light circuit board malfunction. Ice maker stopped functioning. Light flickers on/off by itself. Bestbuy has been no help to fix issues. DO NOT BUY!

I would never repurchase this refrigerator even if it was the last one. I’ve not had it 6 months an already had it serviced twice for the ice maker. The first time they came out they replaced the whole icemaker. The new one they replaced it with is worse than the first one and I was told that it only makes five cubes of ice every 70 minutes so unless you’re single or your family doesn’t use ice you might as well buy a countertop icemaker like we have had to do, and you might as well forget about putting stuff on the top shelf because if you do, everything will be frozen like the freezer and cause the rest of the refrigerator to freeze I’ve tried turning down the temp inside and that does not help and I’ve kept everything off the top shelf away from the vents and it’s still doing it. I don’t see this refrigerator lasting very long with all the issues I’ve already had..
