I bought this to replace a Dacor DMO2420S in-wall microwave whose touchpad had failed. I had the Dacor AMTK30S trim kit too. Naturally, my Dacor failed with bad timing - I had a dinner party planned in a few days. It was going to be 2 weeks lead time to get a replacement Dacor, but I noticed this Frigidaire had the same size specifications and was in stock at a local Best Buy store. It fits perfectly, including where it's little legs fit onto the Dacor trim kit. Works very well, and was about half the price of a new Dacor. (I suspect, but don't know for sure, that they are essentially the same unit, but with different touchpad controls.)

I bought this microwave to replace an existing old GE microwave in the house we recently purchased. I wanted to use the existing stainless steel frame ( which in some cases it can be as expensive as the microwave), because it was in excellent condition. This microwave fit perfectly, it had the same dimensions as the old one (had to do some research ), and matched with the existing stainless steel frame. Even though this is not considered a very high end microwave due to price, I must say that I'm very satisfy with its performance and the multiple options I can choose from.

Our kitchen cabinets had the proper opening provided for a standard built-in microwave and this one fit nicely with the installation kit sold separately. I recommend downloading the installation manual to ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions before ordering. It's very spacious and powerful and working well so far. Only complaint Mrs. B has is with the beeper when it's done.. it continues relentlessly until you respond to the machine or mute it all together in the program function. We haven't noticed any unusually loud operating noise as other reviews have mentioned.. it is powerful so we expected it to be somewhat louder than the small unit that it replaced. As I mentioned, the installation kit is sold separately and not available directly from bestbuy.com. After researching the installation information and proper kit p/n on the Frigidaire site, I went through several layers of best buy customer service over the phone until someone knew they were offered from their subsidiary partstore.com. The kit does seal to the microwave cabinet well and directs all of the cooling fan air flow properly through the grill openings. Total installation was fast and easy and finished well in appearance. Overall, we're pleased with its performance and capacity although it's well above the regular price point for this size of machine.. but it sure looks great for the 99.99% of the time we're not using it and it frees up a lot of counter space.
