I bought this at a store and didn't inspect it first. When I got home I noticed through the packaging that there was some paint missing on her hair. I took it back to a different store that I knew had a couple to choose from in stock. The clerk was very helpful when I explained why I was exchanging the one I had bought, and brought out the two in stock for me to choose from. Only one of them passed my inspection, the other had imperfections as well. It seems that collectors care more about the box, because the clerk asked me if I wanted the one in the box with no damage. I don't care about the box: I bought my Princess Leia to remove from the box and display her. Either way, inspect before you buy.

While true to the "new" Star Wars Princess Leia character, other Funko POP renditions of Leia and other characters have been immensely better in past years, in my opinion. This Funko POP culture Princess Leia figurine's appearance in person, off the screen, is far too cuddly for this major heavy- hitting Star Wars series player. Sadly, she looks too cute, too "girly" with her numerous curly eyelashes, and more CGI rather than a traditional POP caricature appearance. I was disappointed and actually was taken aback, a bit, by the inclusion of the "newer" taser gun in her hand... that's not the Leia I remember so very fondly from the older movies! So I also returned her for now. I'll hold off for a better FUNKO POP Princess Leia rendition soon! Or I'll simply search for another version online.

I've always been a fan of Star Wars growing up and having this of Princess Leia goes perfect with the one I have of her as General Leia
