Q: Can this device be used for recording conversations?

Q: Can the parent track the kids while they are in school?
A: The vivofit jr. 2 will keep track of your child's activity throughout the day, but you cannot track their location. -Blake with Garmin
Q: Can the bluetooth be turned off? I realize this will not allow it to track steps or sleep.
A: Bluetooth cannot be turned off. You could pair the device to your phone to set it up and then unpair it. A: It doesn’t track heart rate

A: Yes. The Garmin App can is in the Apple App Store and can go on an iPad.
