The cooktop looks great and works well also but burn marks on this new unit are very disappointing. The chief chef (my wife) is extremely diligent in the care of the unit and cleans it thoroughly after every use. But still unacceptable burn marks or stains have appeared. This unit is supposed to be the best of the best and the cost reflects that but it doesn't live up to it's cost or rating.

On-time delivery. Installers Juan B & Gustavo were professional and courteous, and did an excellent job installing my cooktop. After the installation Juan went over the cooktop functions and answered any questions I had. He was very knowledgeable and articulate regarding the product I purchased.

Guys installed the day before thanksgiving! What a relief to get this installed before we hosted 30 people for lunch the next day. Very polite, quick, knowledgeable, adapted to a small install problem.

I went to my local store and purchased a Bosch 800 30 in cooktop. The store representative was extremely helpful with the purchase and my wife and I left the store completely satisfied with the purchase. On the day of the installation, the installers showed up in a timely manner and were complete professionals, it took them approximately 2 hrs to complete the install, it was good experience. The cooktop is a great change from our previous one, it is easier to clean and offers more options with extra burners. I would recommend this to everyone.

Installers were professional, friendly and did a good job! Original installation date was 2 days ago and they were canceled by the company, due to storm. It would have been nice to be notified, though - I wasn’t and not happy about it. But I don’t hold the installers at fault.

The Wi-Fi app only tells you if any of the burners are on or off and doesn't provide any other feedback (e.g. level). You can set a timer on the app, but it does not remotely turn on/off burners. Basically same function as a timer on the phone. Believe it's best if used with the range hood fan, where you can set it so it turns on when burners are on. Samsung doesn't have an island style hood fan, so if you have an island, it's not worth getting Wi-Fi. As for the cooktop, it's great and very functional. The installers were a little confused. You're supposed to install the seal tape around the cutout in the island first, then drop the cooktop in. That way it matches up perfectly with the cooktop edges and seals. My installers installed it on the cooktop and then dropped it in, which caused the sealing tape not to match the cut-out.

We used the installation service for the first time and were initially a bit worried, but the process was very easy. The technicians clearly knew what they were doing, made helpful adjustments to the fixture, and ensured everything was working properly before they left. Installation was perfect! Fast and efficient. The 2 installers were very neat and also took the time to be sure that I was fully aware of the way to use this cooktop, especially showing me about the warming burner top that came with the unit.

The top works great. The grates sit twice as high as my previous cooktop so that takes getting used to. Very easy to clean. I wish the left front had a large burner because that’s the side I do my major cooking on. It also seems backward to have it light on high flame. To use simmer or low, you have to turn it through high flame to turn it off. Overall, I would recommend this cooktop.

The stovetop is fine but I was disappointment with the pre-install team; I requested them to come out way in advance prior to the install date to ensure the stovetop was compatible and they did not check to see if the wifi will work - i bought this stovetop for that specific feature. I was never able to get it to work because of a piece on the stovetop. I felt like the installer's team should have seen this in their initial walkthrough.

The installation was fine, the installers knew their job and did a very good job. However, this review is about the pre-installation services. Two different people came about the installation, but failed to note that the stove would not fit the existing cut out in the granite top. Thus, the installers who were not expecting to do this extra work had to saw the granite top for the cooktop to fit. Glad they had the proper equipment to do this. Cost us an extra $200 than what we payed Best Buy for the installation.

I would like to express my disatisfaction at recent downdraft installation service by Best Buy contracted vendor, Country Kitchens. We had requested site visit to get installers input to make any modicications to cabinet and for counter top. When installers came on Sept 30, my husband repetedly asked if we need to make any modifications to the cabinet. The plan was to ask our contractor to make necessary adjustments for installers to come and install with ease. The installers did not provide any instructions. We had scheduled appointment for them to come on Friday (Oct 3) for installation of downdraft. We had scheduled with Contractor and Counter-top guy to be available to make any changes if needed. Instead the appointment was changed to Tuesday (Oct 7) by Best Buy. On October 7, the installers complained that the cabinet was not cut out properly. In addition the cooktop (that was already installed) will need to be taken out and will need to be re- installed; and we will have to pay for all the additional work. Their bill was typed, which shows that the vendor had already planned to charge us this additional fee.
