To prepare for installation, clear a path from the street to the laundry room wide enough to accommodate the dryer. And make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
We'll disconnect the existing dryer from utilities and venting.
We'll connect it to your existing utilities and venting using new gas connectors and dryer vent kit (sold separately, automatically added at checkout). We cannot install venting in crawl spaces or where side venting is not available. For front-load dryers, we'll place it on a compatible pedestal (sold separately).
We’ll clean up and recycle all packaging and make sure your new dryer is functioning properly. Finally, we’ll answer any questions you may have and let you know how to contact us for future support.
When you purchase a qualifying dryer from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you (not included).
Additional charges may apply for permits required by your municipality, cabinet or counter modifications, and utilities like valves or outlets which are non-functional or not-up-to code. Relocation does not include reconnection.
