We bought this fridge for our beach condo because of good reviews on the ice maker. Not disappointed. Very sleek design and plenty of space at a great price. Would recommend it.

We did a lot of shopping around and comparisons before buying this refrigerator. We had wanted to remodel our kitchen before buying a new fridge unfortunately our old refrigerator was slowly on it's way out after many years of service, this was the biggest refrigerator in the dimensions we had available we could get delivered to our area. The brand quality is very good so we didn't settle for second best. The delivery crew was ready to take it back because they thought it wouldn't fit in our small kitchen, we measured it to be sure it would fit before we ordered it so knowing it would fit we asked they to try setting it up if couldn't fit we let them take it back for an exchange. They had to take the doors off to get it though our doors but it just fits in the available space. After having lived with this refrigerator for a year we really like it, the temperature it keeps the fridge and freezer side are much colder than our old refrigerator ever did. We have a confidence in the food stored in the fridge side staying fresh, when we go to defrost something we know if we take it form the freezer and put it on the fridge side it will take a day or two to be defrosted. The water system has a easy to change filter that does not leak while swapping filters. Seems to do a very good job filtering out impurities, we've dramatically cut back on bottle water consumption because the water is that good. The two let downs are not really big deals but still can be a bother. First is the ice machine, does a fine job creating ice, its crushing or despising cubes that seems to take awhile. We've had other refrigerators which did theses tasks much more efficiently and in greater quantities. We are not sure if this is common of if we need to call for a repair. Not really big deal, just takes a little longer to get the ice we want. The other issue is the storage on the freezer side door, tiny little places that really can't fit much of anything useful. Obviously this is because of this size limitation of our kitchen, models with bigger freezer sections and doors may not have this issue. What kind of hurts the usefulness of the door is the door shelves are thickly molded, probably for the bigger freezer doors, but on the smaller door the thickness of the shelves severely limits the useful space. After a year of ownership those are our only real complaints. We would recommend this refrigerator to our friends.

Lovin’ my new GE fridge. This model was inexpensive yet updated and large enough to fit all my cold foods. It’s much easier to find all my foods.

I'm in love with the slate color. The first time I saw It I had to have it. At first I wanted a different refrigerator , then I discovered that my opening was too small. I found thud refrigerator for the right size. Fit perfectly. It's still lots of space inside and very functional.

I wanted the slate side-by-side in a smaller width than my older frig and this looks beautiful and works great. The ice maker is a little noisy but not unexpectedly so. The space allocation is wonderful in the refrigerator section. The freezer would not be sufficient if I did not have a small chest freezer. The slate does not show smudges like the normal stainless. It is very easy to clean. My only complaint is that we pay a premium for smaller sizes - that is not unique to this brand.

After refusing delivery on the 25 Cu. Ft. unit whose doors would be unable to open in my existing fridge space, the following week I purchased this similar yet smaller model. It replaced a 22 year old Kitchen Aid that only cooled the fridge side to about 50 degrees, started leaking onto the floor and whose icemaker was dead. Anyhow, I'm loving this unit. It cooled down quickly to 0degrees (Freezer) and 36degrees (fridge). It's nice having a water filter that's easily removable /replaceable (my old unit didn't have one). It doesn't make a lot of noise, the water dispensed is chilled, the icemaker isn't too loud when it drops a load of ice, the gallon sized shelves are handy, and the interior is well lit. When you dispense water, a small light illuminates so you can see how full your cup is and goes off by itself. The front door controls are simple - you can quickly check the temp by pressing a button. Although you can change the temp settings, the defaults work just fine. It's got plenty of drawers and a couple can have their humidity level set with a slider. Great fridge!

Like the color and finish. Nice temp control. Filter located inside is a plus. Only thing I can think of as a negative is the freezer is small but I knew that when I bought it.

Great product but sticky tape that was on the outside still lingers in places and hard to scrub off--even after the delivery man peeled them away! Also we wish the freezer had more space.

This GE refrigerator is replacing a 20 year old GE refrigerator. It is very similar model with a few upgrades. I have had it for less than a month but it is functioning as designed. I like the temperature display so I know the temperature easily. The filter is also super easy to change and the refrigerator lets me know when it time.

I like the icemaker because it doesn't take up so much room and still seems to replenish quickly. More space in the freezer than I am used to for the size. Much quieter than my old machine, but not what you would call silent.

I did a lot of research online by reading many many reviews on this refrigerator. I'm very pleased with its performance and its roominess. The ice maker and water dispenser have been faultless unlike many of the reviews that I read about other refrigerators. The freezer is narrow but it forces me to be more organized when I put things on the shelves. It was a good choice for the small space that I have.

Refrigerator is as advertised. Multiple shelf organization choices makes customization a snap. Pullout drawers are plastic and they do not slide in and out very smoothly. Perfect fridge for smaller spaces.

We purchased all four GE appliances in slate with the understanding that the slate would hide fingerprints very well. We were not disappointed! This refrigerator looks great, was easy to install and provides clear line of site to almost every area inside. Definitely recommend this appliance.
