I have a GE model# JE1590SH02 with trim kit. I need to replace the the microwave. Can I use any of the new model GE microwave ovens and still use my old 29.8 trim kit.

A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as an upper, lower, and rear duct that attaches to and encases the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model. We suggest to view our GE Profile™ Series 1.5 Cu. Ft. Countertop Convection/Microwave Oven PEB9159SJSS (Stainless Steel/Gray- matches new Wall Ovens). It is compatible with Microwave Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX9153SJSS. I have microwave peb1590sm2ss GE Profile Series 1.5 Cu ft Countertop Convection/Microwave Oven with trim kit. I need a replacement stainless microwave and keep the same trim kit, i dont care if its convection just micro is fine. suggestions ? low priced

Your current model is 1.5 cubic ft. and 1000 Watts the dimensions are the following: 14 3/4 H x 22 5/8 W x 19 7/8 D. We recommend model PEB9159SJSS with trim kit Optional 27" Built-In Kit JX9152SJSS or Optional 30" Built-In Kit JX9153SJSS. If you don't need the convection, please take a look at model, PEB7227ANDD with the trim kit- JX7227SLSS (Stainless steel); JX7230SLSS (Stainless steel).
