If I could give Best Buy -0 stars I would. It took three different deliveries. The first one look like it fell off a truck it wasn’t even safe to hook up. We had to get someone from the gas company in. We out of pocket to pay for all of our meal out and $225 for someone to come in. After speaking to a very rude representative that left me crying. I went to the store who was more sympathetic to our situation and could not believe the condition of the stove. And after I asked the gentleman not to leave here. He left with the stove sitting in the middle of my kitchen. As a family we had to cook for five days. The second stove that was delivered was also damaged. I stayed very calm and respectful. Had to wait 3 1/2 weeks for a stove to be delivered. Behold the stove was finally delivered. Third stove is good not the best but it’s coming from Best Buy. All said and done the maximum amount Best Buy will compensate you for after 6 weeks of this is $50-$68 One insult after another had I known this I would’ve just gotten it from a different store that treats their customers better.

I was impressed by the overwhelming positive reviews this oven had and excited to see it was available in the “ white” finish which many manufacturers have discontinued. I was pleased with my purchase… until the stove was delivered 5 days ago. I’m hoping this unit is a quality control slip, GE! I immediately noticed the exterior of the stove got quite hot to the touch at average temp of 375 . The panel supporting the burner dials and the entire oven door were hot. The broiler door was dangerously hot with just the oven, not broiler, on. This may have been due to the faulty /poor quality oven door gasket . I soon discovered the gasket was not even secured to the oven door in 4 areas!!! The unit has poor design. The oven’s heat ventilation blows straight across the entire top of the stove burners which makes it uncomfortably warm to stand and use the cook top with the oven on. The broiler is dangerous to use. It is so low to the floor and has minimal interior space. A hand burn waiting to happen. This stove is being returned and replaced with a higher quality unit. ( Not GE) Sorry GE..what a disappointment.

Poor quality. The burn caps immediately stained after the first use and the stains won’t come out, the coating on the griddle is already peeling off and there’s a crack underneath it, and I had to have the inside oven seal replaced. It was delivered with a tear in it. The range is very nice to look at and it’s a good price but you get what you pay for. I’ve only had this range five months and it’s already starting to break down. I also don’t like the broiler on the bottom. You literally have to get on your knees to use it. I would not recommend this. I am going to have to get the griddle replaced soon. Luckily I purchased the geek squad warranty as the griddle cost about $90 to replace. Save yourself some trouble and buy a more expensive higher quality range.

I purchased this range for my rental unit because my range broke . I was never notified of the time of delivery, I had to log on and find out for myself when the delivery window was scheduled. I had to take two hours of sick time because I’m a shift worker and needed the time to make it before the delivery window. The delivery went fine and they showed up at reasonable time . The range was damaged on multiple times . I had to take delivery of the range because I can’t leave my rental without a working range/ oven for multiple days . I scheduled a return / delivery of a replacement range for tomorrow (14 June) I requested a later delivery window since I’m a shift worker who gets off a shift at 0730 in the mornings. I was never notified of the delivery window for the second time I had to log in and check . The delivery window is from 7000 - 9300 tomorrow . Now I have to take an another two hours of sick leave so I can get down to the city in time to make the delivery widow . I called today asking if they can push my window back an hour or to a later window tomorrow. I was told they cannot push it back because of the delivery window . I was told to if I needed to reschedule for another day I could . This not acceptable not everyone works normal 9-5 jobs .

The broiler is way too low (as in sitting-on-the-floor low) and very difficult and uncomfortable to use. Additionally the rack doesn't pull out to check doneness. The pan that food is sitting on has to be remove. This requires putting hands inside of a small space while the flame is on. The stove top grates are quite heavy because each grate covers two burners. Difficult to fit in my sink for cleaning and would take up considerable space in dishwasher if cleaned there. Four smaller grates covering each of the 4 burners would be a better design for cleaning and portability. The full black door is sucking up too much of the light in my kitchen. The gasket surrounding oven window appears loose in one corner. On the plus side the oven is large and will accommodate multiple items baking at same time.

If I could give this trash 0 stars I would. The technician that tried to fix it flat out said it was a bad design. It won't hold a stable temperature, the unit gets way too hot on the casing when I'm use, the broiler on the bottom gives you 3 inches of clearance or whatever you're cooking is torched. GE itself was so useless on the phone it should be studied. They refused to give me an RA number, even made up a magic phone number that the "Area Manager" of Best Buy should have to get the RA number. That's right, they wouldn't give the customer the RA for their crap product. The GM and DM of the Rockaway store (thank you forever Chuck) both having been in retail for 20+ years has never heard of such a thing because it doesn't exist. Don't buy GE products. Period

When the OVEN is on- The outside of this stove gets so hot to the touch it will burn you. The panel where the knobs are, the top, the display, the top where the bit tees are and the back of the stove get really hot. Steam somehow escapes from the oven and moisture collects on the griddle. The heat escapes to much it will also heat your kitchen. It’s a dangerous defective appliance.

I bought this oven NEW we were rehabbing a home and recently went to connect it and it kept shorting our breaker. So I did some basic steps to figure out the problem and low and behold this has been serviced before. So i was given a refurbished stove for the price of a new one. Thought maybe I could put a range cord on it instead of the standard electrical cord and noticed screws were bent in the back paneling and two missing all together. Of course it says not returnable.

Heated up the kitchen microwave so fast from the stove top burners that we had to turn on the fan on the microwave. Its worried us every time we turned it on. We got rid of the oven and swapped it for a better oven this week.

We are sorry this model didn't meet your expectations. It is normal for the cooktop to be hot when you are cooking inside the oven. This is especially true if you have been baking or broiling for an extended period of time. On Freestanding Gas Ranges, the oven is usually vented up through the backsplash and heat from the oven is directed downward toward the cooktop so we do recommend that you use the vent fan above to help vent and cool the cooktop. I am a big GE appliance fan. Stove was deliverd and installed very efficiently. THEN one of the burners was not operable - at all. When testing the oven, the oven worked just fine, but the broiler turned on as well....and there was no way to turn it off....or on by itself. the broiler, by the way, is so low to the floor - if you are not extremely limber, forget it! I will not even attempt to use this stove while waiting for a different model and brand to be delivered in a week. Best buy was very understanding and has an excellent service department.

We couldn't see this stove before purchasing it. We are unhappy that we must kneel on the floor to use the broiler and we miss the storage compartment

Nothing on the product, I love the product. This is on Best Buy not allowing in store phone calls when the order was placed in store. I do not need to talk with online sales when they cannot fix my problem of a backorder and switching items. Purchased a 4 appliance combo. Range back ordered out 2 months, not a problem switching to lower end model. No online employ could fix the problem. Had to drive 1.5hrs one way to store to fix the issue during a sales event in order not to loose the sale. terrible customer service

Open box item. Lots of damage underneath to one of the adjustable feet. Had to lay stove on its side and take stove apart to make repairs myself. Would never ever buy another open box appliance item again. No boxing to prevent damage to item while being shipped from store, to Baltimore central delivery company and then to my house. Better off buying an unopened boxed application and paying the full price.

Terrible haven’t even had a year and the buttons and screen stoped working. Samsung came and fixed it pretty quickly and free of charge. But it’s concerning the way this is designed it’s probably going to break again soon due to poor ventilation of the oven. The techs showed us what caused the issue and I've noticed how hot it gets around the screen and buttons so I believe the man. Please spare your self and don’t waste your money on this piece of crap Samsung should have never sold to begin with. Also bought one of their most top of the line TVs and it’s complete garbage. Not what they used to be, so be careful buying Samsung in my opinion.
