The handles for this refrigerator are not well designed. The handles easily pop off the doors when opening. Cheap!

The refrigerator was barely a year old when it stopped blowing cold air into the fridge because condensation increases in the freezer and ice builds up behind the lower drawers, causing the ice to back up into the freezer so it stops working entirely. It appears to be a design flaw, which are conveniently not covered by warranty anyway. My husband has spent time and effort repairing it MANY times. We had a repairman come out who said it was fixed and wouldn't be a problem anymore. That "fix" lasted less than a month. The problem just keeps worsening, to the point where my husband has to use a hair dryer to melt the ice in the back of the refrigerator and turn the fridge off until it resets every few days. This is ridiculous and now, after only 3 years, we're forced to buy a new refrigerator.

6 months in it complete broke, freezer and fridge completely stopped cooling. It was the week of thanksgiving, as a bonus. Took a few weeks for someone from GE to get out and fix it. 16 months in it broke again, fridge is 5° warmer than it should be and freezer won't go below 28°. 2 weeks to wait for repairs and $250 in parts and labor. Don't buy this.

It’s October 2023 and this was delivered in February 2023. It’s a very nice unit if it works but it failed about a month ago in the process of getting the warranty repair has been an absolute nightmare. Parts were ordered and it did not arrive and then the second time the parts were ordered they took a long time to arrive, when they finally arrive the repair was done in the machine worked for like three days and then failed again. This was with a whole new compressor and everything. My understanding is that appliance quality has plummeted so basically you either get lucky or unlucky, but in our case, it’s been horrible. All that said Best Buy was very good about the delivery and all that kind of stuff and the price was good. I don’t think it’s Best Buy‘s fault.

One star only because I placed an order in Sept and they have rescheduled my refrigerator three times, now delivery will be at the end of Nov. Wow!!! Had I known it wasn’t available, I would have picked something else.

Paid $1800 for this fridge only to have it stop cooling after a year and a half. Did not buy an extended warranty because I assumed that an appliance would last longer than the 3 year extended warranty offered. Little did I know!

This refrigerator is badly designed. There is cold air emitted outside the unit. However the refrigerator doesn’t maintain cold air in the upper compartment. Constantly ices up and could not be resolved. This was the second unit as the first one had a water line leak. Best Buy did replace the first unit and gave me full credit for the second.

Trash, came broken, freezer is leaking and everything is iced over, the fridge is starting to freeze things as well. Bestbuy was supposed to replace the fridge 2 months ago and we have rescheduled now 3 times, completely unacceptable

delivered water was connected but didn't work. Had to go to store and get it returned for another one. Then have to wait another month for a replacement . It still has not arrived

The refrigerator is great. The service to have it delivered was the WORST appliance experience I have ever had. It was delayed. I was not informed. I was informed it was coming, it never showed. It got rescheduled and delayed again, not informed. I was promised a gift card - it never arrived. I've talked to customer support 4 times with extreme hold times. Never received a gift card. I'll not be ordering from Best Buy again. Beware of both their delivery and customer support. Both failed me.

Delivered after a wait of several weeks. The lights worked but it didn't cool! Selected this model because it was the perfect size and it didn't have water and ice on the outside. Best Buy moved my old one back into my kitchen in the interim. May go with a different manufacturer now (lost confidence).

Very bad quality. Very small freezer. The freezer always has frozen water pieces. Waste of money. Very bad quality fir the money. Have to call to return. The service not good either. Had to convince the delivery to haul away the old fridge (I paid for it. Not only the freezer goes not fit anything, the top compartment is small to. I had to buy organizers.
