I like the inside of the refrigerator. It has small drawers on the left side which is great for holding extracts. However, the large drawer at the bottom seems convenient, but you have to open both French doors in order to access it. Also, the refrigerator is very loud. I don’t know if it’s the compressor coming on that makes it so loud, but if that’s the case, it comes on a lot, and the refrigerator’s hum is in the background more than I like. For this reason, I would not have bought the refrigerator if I had known how loud it would operate. Finally, the front of the refrigerator shows smudges and fingerprints much more than my previous stainless steel refrigerator did.

Overall, it's a good fridge so far, but there's enough small issues here and there that I would prefer a different brand. We were stuck with GE because we have to have matched appliances and GE is what the new home builder chose. My previous house, we had LG appliances and I much prefer that almost identical fridge. This GE, the doors constantly swing closed on us, the drawers do not have a good slide mechanism, so they kind of grind plastic on plastic when you pull them out. It's the same with the freezer door and sliding freezer drawer. Also, the water filler on the outside is slow. The LG was much faster. We also had it arrive with a huge scratch on one of the door handles (thanks Geek Squad for so handily getting it replaced). And the doors were also crooked, which the Geek Squad tech was nice enough to fix for us. The one thing this fridge does better than the LG is the icemaker. With the LG, the cubes would melt slightly and then refreeze together. We had to open things up and shake them loose probably once a week. I've never had to do that with this GE fridge. Overall, yes it keeps things cold and seems well organized. I just wish a few of the finishing details and the drawer slides were higher quality. Not what I would expect for a $2500 fridge.

This item was supposed to be delivered on 8/21/2025, but did not show up until 8/30/2025. I had a total knee replacement on 8/25/2025 - this was a major problem.

Smallest ice maker I've ever seen especially in such a huge capacity refrigerator. If Best Buy would have had this model on the floor when I ordered it, and I would have visually seen it, I would have NEVER purchased it. I'm wondering if that's why they don't have the model on the floor??

Plenty of space!!! Does not hold a lot of ice. We run out of ice a lot. 4 people in house. display for water and ice is hard to see. It is a little noisy. I think there are better fridges out there.

Love the french doors and the fact the ice maker is in the door. As other reviewers have stated, this refrigerator is LOUD when the fan/cooling element is running. Sounds like a high whine. Hoping we get used to it. Also wish it had a butter dish compartment - we put ours in the cheese drawer.

Got it after my LG frenchdoor fridge broke in less than 2 years, so far so good but the freezer door is hard to close and makes a lot of noise. Less space than my Lg but it does the job so far. Only had it for less than a month now.

Good product for the price. Delivery was prompt but could definitely be better. Water was leaking for sometime from the filter but eventually stopped.

This GE refrigerator is okay. My complaint is the doors. When closing the doors you have to make sure it’s physically closed, they aren’t a soft close. So far it’s fine, I like it. I would not buy a Samsung refrigerator again.

I purchased open box and thought I was getting a deal, but difficult to get through the front door of my house. Had to remove doors...which aren’t suppose to be removed. Aesthetically, nice. Functionality 3.5 out of 5.

I wanted to love this fridge. I planned to buy the Maytag 24.7 cu ft but this was slightly bigger at 25.5 and I liked the shelf layout. After letting things settle-in for 24 hours the almost constant compressor on noise is unacceptable. We could clearly hear it from upstairs, ugh! Bliss for the few moments it was quiet, like first thing this morning. Opened the door and grabbed the coffee creamer and the compressor kicked-on and loud noise for 20-30 minutes. Shout out to Best Buy who really does seem to care about customer satisfaction. Returning and exchanging for a different brand/model was very easy. They offered me pickup/delivery 2 days from now and I moved to 3 days when I WFH. This type of customer experience will make me buy all my appliances from Best Buy vs. Home Depot. Seems like all the new refrigerators have compressors that run more than the old fridges, but the trick is finding one that doesn't come on more than a few times a day with average use. We're willing to pay up to $500 more for quiet operation, but the extra price is mainly around features vs. the insulated box/compressor itself.
