I really like the Black Slate color. GE is the only manufacturer I found that has this color. This refrigerator looks good inside and out. The LED lighting brightens up the inside. It’s a little bit noisy when running, but not loud.

We bought this refrigerator to replace a small side by side refrigerator that came with our second home. We liked the smooth white look, the large size, the water dispenser, and the bottom freezer. However, the inside is a bit awkward with very narrow door shelves on the left and there isn’t a butter compartment. Not a deal breaker, but just odd.

maybe this is a Best Buy "thing" but I have never had a fridge delivered with the handles not installed and the doors not aligned. Apparently, this is something that I am supposed to do? I did not require installation just delivery, but surely one would not expect to align doors and install handles...stickers on the front indicated how to do so...just odd and annoying. That being said, I love the appearance of the refrigerator...nice color and very modern design.

The refrigerator is great! So spacious and beautiful. The only thing that I will need to get used to is the sounds. There is a hum on/off that sound like my cell phone vibration tone. I hope my attention to this diminishes over time as it's a bit annoying now.

Bought this fridge thinking about the quality of GE products and to keep the same brand for all the other appliances already in my kitchen. And I wasn’t wrong. It’s very efficient and has great space for both fridge and freezer areas. Just a little noise when the compressor kicks in but overall, performance is great and very efficient.

We love the look and size of our new fridge but I fear it wont last long, it sounds like cheap plastic when opening and closing the freezer door

Biggest plus was this was the shortest model in a French door I could fit in my kitchen. Good lighting,nice design,quiet. Negatives: no flip up shelf as Samsung. Therefore limited areas for vertical storage(wine bottles etc)area for ice/water has stationary tray,icemaker makes VERY little ice and no bin in freezer for extra ice storage. But it is a modern look and the price was reasonable(on sale)

Nicely laid out, but...no shelf compartment for butter. Very few adjustments for door bins. Noisy ice (not the ice maker itself but after it drops a big "clunk". Ice bin small and tricky to remove. I had to add a home made spacer to left door peg (where doors come together at top) because peg is too short. Needs more than 1 disappearing shelf.

What I love the most about this fridge is the color. The sz is good but not enough rm to accommodate tall bottles for 2 liter beverages and I'm used to a larger freezer capacity. Excellent product over all. These are just my personal preferences

The french door handles would not snap in place like the freezer door did. This issue had to be resolved by a service technician. Unfortunately it caused a few scratches that I will have to live with. The fridge itself it awesome and the slate color is great.

No butter compartment. Nice shelving and drawers. Perfect color to go with our other appliances. Black is rare these days. We like the French Doors and Freezer on the bottom.

Definitely energy efficient and beautiful. However, I wish the door cabinets were the same depth on both sides because the ones on the left are so narrow you can literally only fit items like mustard. Also, I wish I had more options in terms of adjusting shelf height. The amount of slots available create very limited mobility.

this is a nice refrigerator. The freezer holds much more food than a freezer that is on top. The fruit and vegetables trays keep everything fresh

With our expanding family we needed more space for food. This GE was a great solution at a solid price. the french doors make it easy to get in and out of. there is plenty of space for big and small items. although I miss our ice trays the icemaker is great but has the only real draw back w this fridge which is the messiness of the icemaker as ice has never all made its way into the glass. everything else is great so far.

So far the refrigerator is exactly as advertised. We are very pleased with this purchase. The only down side is the wait time for a white refrigerator, over a year!

I love the size of this refrigerator. The fact that the shelves are adjustable to your personal preference is wonderful. I can fit a lot more food in this than my previous side by side. I don't like that the ice dispenser box is really small. I compensated by buying an ice bin for the freezer. Works great.

Product looks great and it arrived on time which is surprising. Using it in an outdoor kitchen for a customer.

Looks great, very user friendly. Shame we had to buy another refer to hold us over because this one wasnt available like we were told.

Overall we like our refrigerator. Ample room in the fridge to make up for the door shelves. The fridge does make loud sounds, you get use to that. The ice maker container doesn’t hold a lot of ice. The water dispenser is at an awkward position.

Don’t like that my gallons of milk don’t fit evenly and we have to lower an entire level
