I am so happy we replaced our old glass stove top with this coil stove top! The coils heat up the food evenly. The settings for them ( Lo - Hi) allow me to cook my food to perfection, unlike our old glass stove which was too hot even on lower settings). It also boils water for me without any issues at all. I say this because some reviews mentioned issues, but we had none. I used a large cast iron pot, and a medium metal pot. They both boiled the water in under 10 mins! I believe the key is to regularly clean the coils (which do pop out to make this easier). You can also pop out the drip pans and clean those. Do this weekly and your coils should function just fine. As for the oven itself, it heats up and holds the set temperature well (we use an oven thermometer to ensure it has reached its set temp). Overall, I'm very happy with our purchase. If you're looking for a basic, coil cook top, stove then this is it!

My mama needed her stove replaced, so I picked her out an Electric ⚡️ Coil Stove in black. Went from an Electric Glass Top to Electric Coil Top and she LOVE ❤️ IT!! My mom is 73 year old and still cooking and throwing down in the kitchen.

The oven had a giant knick on the corner that you can tell someone sloppily painted over so it's matte black and the rest of the stove is shiny black. I brought a brand new oven, and to make it even worse, my brand new stove I paid for delivery, and haul away service, I got charged an additional $50 something dollars for a cord. The brand new stove doesn't include a power cord. Best Buy has lost my households business. Go to Lowe's, you will regret purchasing here.

The oven is great. Needed a basic oven that was simple for my mom's house. Her over had stopped working. Ordered this figuring it would be basic and simple and it is. Notes on installation. The old oven ran at 30amps... this at 40amps. So i had to update the cord and the wall outlet, and check to ensure the old breaker could handle the load. Upon instal, the oven had very little power. Tested with a meter. And that old 30amp socket just wasn't putting out the power. So i updated the cord, outlet. And its fantastic. Boils water fast, heats fast etc. Just a decent oven and range. Not sure about longevity as i just got it. The only bad part was the delivery. First Best Buy couldn't deliver for almost 2 weeks. Then, they updated me friday at 5pm of the time they'd arrive Saturday. Was all set Saturday morning, only to get a voice mail saying they couldn't get out to me that day, and theyd schedule Sunday morning... but i had to call. Called about 30 times only getting voicemail. Left 2 messages. Never heard back. So i called regular customer service who told me i wouldn't get the oven util the following Tuesday at the earliest. Regardless they did not deliver the day promised. With all the late deliveries ive gotten ordering from BB, i guess i should have know. And not counted on them sor something this important. Leaving 5 stars, as the product does seem great for a basic no frills oven. But id leave zero stars for delivery and how customer service handled the situation. I doubt Ill shop at best buy again.

So far so good i think this stove is what we needed. It is easy to use and clean. The heating elements heat up fast and like i said it is easy to use.

Most people do not go from gas to electric, but I switched to electric because I did not want to breathe in any amount of carbon monoxide. This electric stove works great for my husband and me. Other reviews complained about the burner sensors causing the burners to shut off. I have not experienced that at all. They may automatically reduce the heat until the temperature lowers again and then increase in heat but to totally shut off, that has not happened. I have no complaint about the way the burners work, and I use it daily. It does take some getting used to when switching from gas to electric and learning how it works. After turning burner off, it does take a minute for cool down so watch you don't overcook something. I move the pan off to the side. The oven works great as well. Easy to use and easy to clean. It has a very generous storage drawer at the bottom where I keep cookie sheets and brownie pans.

This is simple and easy to use range. Few bells and whistles which pleases me. The price was outstanding and the folks at the warehouse were helpful.

My mother wanted a stove/oven that did not have any digital settings. This stove/oven is perfect for her and very easy for her to operate. My mom is very happy with her GE 5.0 Cu Ft Freestanding Electric Range

Good no-frills stove. The only drawback is no timer, but for the money it’s okay.
