A: Hi Buddy - Thanks for considering GE! Model JGBS66REKSS has Steam Clean (not self-cleaning). The steam clean cycle is 30 minutes and will loosen soil on the racks as well as the oven interior, which then can be wiped off with a soapy dishcloth. This feature is quicker, cooler and faster than the Self-Clean feature. Simply pour 1 cup of water in the center of the oven floor and choose Steam Clean. GE Range
This is a great range! It has different sized burners for different pots or pans. The center griddle is a nice bonus and if you decide you don't need it you can buy the grates. Nice big burner if you decide to get the great. The oven works great and cooks even. I haven't used the broiler, i prefer to use my inferred outside. Looks great and cools great, what else can you ask for.

Amazing stove you will use the griddle everyday
Love this stove! I absolutely use the griddle and the boiler burner to the max. It is advertised to be easy cleaning with a dishwasher but I can confirm that even if you wash the griddle and grates by hand it’s super easy and clean with a single swipe. The surface of the stove is very easy to clean too. One con would be that it does get very hot but that could be because previous stove wasn’t as hot even on the highest setting. Sometimes when I’m stirring food I get hot.

GE gas stove with broiler
I love this stove! It has four burners with a variety of sizes so it's perfect for any size pot. In the center there is a dedicated griddle that is nice for vegetables or quesadillas. The griddle also fith in the dishwasher to make for east cleanup. On our first night we broiled steaks for the best tasting steaks we have had in a awhile.
