A: The door opens from left to right. The hinge is on the right, and the opening for the handle is on the left. I think it’s possible to switch the way the door swings on the dryer, but not on the washer.

Q: do you need a special hook up for the steam feature/
A: Hi farmgirl - To produce steam, the dryer must connect to the cold water supply. Since the washer must also connect to the cold water, a “Y” connector is inserted to allow both inlet hoses to make that connection at the same time.
